आदरणीय @myogiadityanath जी, लखनऊ के इमामबाड़ा परिसर से जुड़ा एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें दावा किया जा रहा है कि कुछ लोगों ने एक हिंदू लड़की को हिजाब पहनने के लिए कहा, जबकि लड़की ने साफ कहा कि वह हिंदू है और हिजाब नहीं पहनेगी। अगर यह घटना सत्य है, तो यह व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता और आस्था की आज़ादी से जुड़ा गंभीर मामला है। आपसे अनुरोध है कि इस प्रकरण की निष्पक्ष जांच कराकर सच्चाई सामने लाई जाए और यदि किसी ने दबाव बनाया हो तो उचित कार्रवाई हो। साथ ही भविष्य में इस तरह की घटना दुबारा न हो इसके लिए इमामबाड़ा प्रबंधक कमेटी को स्पष्ट निर्देशित करे। @CMOfficeUP @dgpup @lkopolice @adgzonelucknow

The Allahabad High Court judgement rejecting the Sambhal Police’s strange orders restricting namaz on private property is welcome. The duty to maintain law and order lies with the state, not ordinary citizens. This is becoming a pattern in UP: in one case, Muslims were detained for offering namaz inside a home; in Sambhal, Muslims are being told no more than 20 people can pray on private property. We can only hope the UP police learns from this.

Allahabad High Court rejects UP administration's decision to restrict the number of persons offering namaz in a mosque in #Sambhal. Bench of Justice Atul Sreedharan and Justice Siddharth Nandan says if the SP and District Collector cannot ensure law and order, then they should either resign or seek transfer. "If the local authorities i.e. Superintendent of Police and Collector feels that the law and order situation could arise because of which they want to limit the number of worshipers within the premises, they should either resign from their post or seek transfer out side Sambhal if they feel they are not competent enough to enforce the rule of law. It is duty of the State to ensure that every community is able to offer worship peacefully in the designated place of worship and if it is a private property as already been held by the Court earlier, to perform worship without any permission from the State."
