I’m in the camp of not being able to afford a membership and so I’m super appreciative when hosts go out of their way to let me experience their place. We (the golf community) needs to do better. I’m bringing my T100 host a gift this fall

@vogeygolf Unfortunately, it isn’t the case with many Bill. The fake courtesies and then poof their gone. I’ve gotten burned on hosting a few times. Lessons learned. Much more selective now.

Many have talked about how amazing the X/Golf community is. Lots of doors that can be opened. At the core is the people. Be interested in building core relationship. Show passion for the game. Take an interesting in learning. Lots of smart people here. Respect the game.

@JD_Patrick As someone who played there last year (didn’t ask Jeffrey BTW) I have a few things to say: Being “fixated” on playing anywhere is wrong. It’s like showing up Saturday morning with one thought: you’re going to shoot a certain score. You have to be focused on the process.

The discussion is around giving them full golf privileges when they only pay 70% dues. Do you think most clubs limit access or should grant priority to full dues members?

I have the least #Shipping exposure, I had in a long time. I think odds of a global recession are high. Shipping stocks went up a lot lately already. Obvious money has been made imo. Most of my shipping exposure is in "shitco's" like $IMPP $PXS $EDRY $TORO, but small.

My "Play of the day" has been selling some USO and BNO near term puts. Sizable option Implied Volatility (expensive) and very hard for me to come up with scenario's of large further oil price drops from here. Current oil price move already seems way too large to me.

The Dow Jones $DJI is going to finish the week right on high volume support, isn't it. 🤪 We're entering this weekend of high fear that Trump is about to attack Iran. That's the narrative anyways. The problem is the Boxer troops are still a week away from Iran and he hasn't sent those additional 10,000 army troops yet, which would take 3 days to deploy by aircraft. Notice the pattern on the indicators like the relative strength (RSI). We're also seeing money flow (MFI) rising, which begins to provide support. If Trump doesn't attack this weekend (because he can't) and suddenly announces peace deal progression on Sunday night this market is about to skyrocket until the April 6th deadline.
