The victims of this double gang rape case were referred to as 'young women' by Jess Phillips on Today recently. It's jarring to hear the perpetrators referred to as 'children' or 'boys' when they are the same age as their victims. Nobody is calling them 'young men'. #r4today

Cadbury was founded in Birmingham in 1824. In 2010, it was acquired by an American company. Today, much of the profit from one of England's best-known chocolate brands flows to overseas shareholders. The UK chocolate market is worth over £8 billion a year. If just 10% shifted to English-made producers, that's £800 million supporting businesses, jobs and investment here. We're building MadeInEngland.com to make it easy to find them.

The “far-right” doesn’t drive vans into crowds like the Westminster, London Bridge or Nice attacks. Doesn’t knife soldiers in the street like Lee Rigby. Doesn’t blow up Ariana Grande concerts Salman Abedi murdered 22 kids and parents at Manchester Arena screaming Allahu Akbar. Doesn’t run grooming gangs that raped and trafficked over 1,400 girls in Rotherham alone (thousands more in Telford, Rochdale, Oxford). And they sure as fuck aren’t 75-90% of MI5’s terror watchlist that’s Islamist extremists (around 39,000 out of 43,000). The imaginary “far-right” is a pathetic distraction so they don’t have to admit what they’ve actually imported. Britain’s had enough of this lie. 🇬🇧 😡

A man brought his German Shepherd, Rex, to the shelter, claiming he was dangerous after biting him.But Rex wasn’t aggressive—he was terrified, hiding in fear and refusing to eat. Days later,a bruised woman came looking for Rex.Through tears, she explained that her husband abused her,and Rex had bitten him only to protect her. When Rex saw his owner again,he ran to her and held her tightly, afraid to lose her again. That’s when everyone realized:Rex was never dangerous…he was loyal and protecting the person he loved.❤️

The girl who was raped by the traveller teens who avoided prison basically says what's the point in reporting rape when they just get let off? She is right, she put her through all this stress just to get told "yeah were letting them get away with raping you" What the hell is going on with our judges, these people are supposed to PUNISH criminals not let them get off. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is fed up of them giving criminals either light sentences or being let off completely with "community service"

While boomers from the USA were chomping on their fast food from McDonald's and KFC, boomers here in the UK during the 1950s and 1960s were busy rebuilding our towns and cities after the blitz of World War 2. Cities like London, Plymouth and Coventry were rebuilt from scratch and many new towns like Harlow were constructed during this period. So, no, we weren't watching our colour TVs in the 60s. We were busy elsewhere.

When Labour took office, headline inflation was 2pc. That same figure has since averaged 3.1pc, compared to 2.7pc in the US over the same period, 2.2pc in Germany and 1.9pc in France. “We promised to cut inflation – and we have”, said Reeves last week. That statement is arrant nonsense, despite last month's one-off inflation fall – as will soon become painfully clear. 🧵6/6 telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…

On May 10, 2022, Alban Gervaise, a 41 year old father of 3 children, a French Military doctor & a Knight of the National Order of Merit, was on his way to pick up his other children at school when he was attacked with his 20 month old baby girl in the car with him. He was stabbed by Mohammed L who told police he acted in the name of Allah. However, The terrorist motive was ruled out by police within hours. Alban was in cardiac arrest when he was rushed to the hospital. 16 days later, he died. The terrorist was ruled mentally ill & that he had “suffered acute delusional episode” & he was sent to psychiatric treatment. No jail time. July 2025, 3 years after Alban’s murder, Mohammed L was declared not criminally responsible for Alban’s murder. The French press was accused of covering up this story. Alban’s wife is still fighting for justice. This is Alban Gervaise, RIP

"Well Josh, did your Mum happen to mention that she'll be able to save £1.64 on the family entry to Legoland during the summer"? "Yes Mr Starmer, and she asked me pass on her thanks. She told me to tell you she plans to take us twice in the holidays. That way she'll save over £3 which will be enough to buy a can of coke for us all to share". "That's marvellous Josh. I'm happy to help".

Follow the logic. Women are deluded and naive for thinking predatory and violent men can be kept out of women-only spaces. ‘They can rape you anywhere.’ However, trans-identified men can only be safe in women-only spaces, because no abuser would ever follow them in there.

I am beginning to think that Lowe was planted to discredit Reform by the Tories because they lost the GE. That failed, and now Restore are there to lessen the Reform vote by promising euphoric hard far right politics that would never win a majority vote in a GE nationwide.

PATIENTS WERE BEING TORTURED Terry Bryan was a charge nurse at Winterbourne View, a private hospital near Bristol for people with learning disabilities and autism. From the day he arrived in August 2010, he saw patients being slapped, restrained, showered fully clothed, pinned to the floor, and taunted by staff. He took his concerns to the management of Castlebeck, then to the local safeguarding board, then to the Royal College of Nursing, then to the @CareQualityComm not once but three separate times. Every door slammed shut. He eventually took his complaint to the @BBC, at which point it was handed over to Panorama. An undercover reporter went in, filmed the abuse, and in May 2011 the country watched it on primetime television. Eleven care workers were sentenced after admitting 38 charges of neglect and abuse. Six were jailed. The CQC, the regulator that ignored Terry three times, later admitted it had missed its chance and was sorry for that. A review found the whole thing was a case study in institutional abuse that went unchallenged because of substantial failings by managers, commissioners, regulators, and safeguarding agencies. Terry was eventually hired by the CQC itself as a compliance inspector. The same body that ignored him three times. You honestly cannot write this stuff. When The Guardian asked him if he would do it again, he said yes. "How would you live with yourself if you didn't do it?" The patients at Winterbourne View had learning disabilities. They were detained under the Mental Health Act. They could not easily advocate for themselves. Terry Bryan was the only person in the entire system who actually tried. Five institutions failed him and failed them. One man and a BBC camera crew did what regulators, managers, commissioners, and safeguarding boards refused to do. Sources: @BBCNews @BBCPanorama "Undercover Care: The Abuse Exposed", May 2011), Community Care, Nursing Times, Hansard, The Guardian.

Scottish taxpayers do pay £91bn into UK revenues (including oil & gas revenues) BUT Scotland receives £117bn back. So English taxpayers subsidise Scotland to the tune of £26bn (Wales & NI also receive more than they pay in) By GERS* calculations, the U.K. government spends just over £18k per English citizen but c£21k per Scottish one. Scotland also runs the highest deficit in Europe - over double England’s - on top of being subsidised by English taxpayers. Why can’t Scotland cut its coat according to its cloth? Big spending cuts are coming for the whole of the UK. The over generous Barnett formula has to be part of that. *Key Latest Figures (2024–25, GERS) • Scotland’s total public spending: £117.6 billion. • Revenues raised in Scotland: £91.4 billion (including ~£4.1 billion geographic share of North Sea oil/gas). • Net fiscal balance (deficit): -£26.2 billion to -£26.5 billion (~11.6–11.7% of GDP), up from ~£21.4 billion the prior year. gov.scot

As I've been tweeting for a year. The MSM have finally woken up. The property market is in dire straits. Estate agents, conveyancers and removal firms will all be suffering because of Rachel Reeves' increase in stamp duty.
