Chris Coons then asked every nominee in the room to confirm the Constitution bars a third term. Silence. Every single one of them refused to say it. Trump is appointing judges who won’t affirm the 22nd Amendment to his face. Never stop connecting the dots.

It should probably be a bigger story that Donald Trump offered John Fetterman a significant “financial windfall” if he switches parties and becomes a Republican. Had Spirit Airlines been allowed to merge with Jet Blue, it would have given them much more resiliency.   Thanks to @SenWarren, @PeteButtigieg, and all of their friends in the Biden Administration who backed their enthusiastic opposition to the Spirit-Jet Blue merger, dozens of regional airports will now lose service and thousands of jobs will now be lost.

Spirit Airlines employs thousands of Floridians and its collapse lands squarely on Washington’s failures.
