@GothamGains Replaced starter but it would start to turn then shut off they think it’s the transmission control module. Which they can’t fix so I have to send it to the dealer.

I am immediately discontinuing L-Arginine. It's one of the supplements I just started this week, since I began taking it, I've noticed I'm getting puffy. I noticed it the most today at the gym in my arms. And as for my dance, I ‘m extra a mess today. I had to get up earlier than usual to drop my sister off so I could use her car today while mine is getting fixed.

@GothamGains @davepl1968 Starting your engine cold, yes. Starting a warm engine is a different story.

My vehicle has a 48V restart and it still sucks. This feature was never made seamless enough for people to accept it, so they didn't.

@HypergeekWiFi @davepl1968 It’s still more wearing starting even when warm granted it’s less but it’s not nothing especially during an extended period like a particularly long light. Stop start only makes sense for things like hybrids pure ice cars could do more in the way of vvt/cyl deactivations

@HypergeekWiFi @davepl1968 And I haven’t even gotten into the fact that it wears your engine faster as starting your car is generally the most wear causing because of the time it takes to build oil pressure and coat everything in oil which takes time

@HypergeekWiFi @davepl1968 It actually doesn’t do shit most of the vehicle pollution these days are brake dust and tires and it’s been this way before the widespread adoption of start stop technology and it’s been increasing with the increase of Ev’s as they are heavier than their equivalent ice car

@APater6076 @davepl1968 Idk about other some other manufacturers but Nissan and Toyota and Honda it will not shut that light off until the starter has been replaced disabling your remote start and some other functions

@GothamGains @davepl1968 Starters are rated for 350000-500000 starts in stop start systems. That's easily a decade or more and in many situations the car will turn it off by itself if it's detrimental to progress.
