Today marks one week since I built this absolute beast of a PC. I want to thank @linusgsebastian and @GamersNexus for being huge inspirations for me to start my own PC building business. You can get your own MonsterBuild for yourself at MonsterBuilds.ca!

An interesting observation that I have. I have both the Tesla wall charger and a 40 amp Range plug in my garage. The Tesla charger has a 60amp circuit but only charges at 48 amps. When I plug in my mobile charging cord to the range plug, I get 40 amps. I bet getting a range/dryer plug installed is WAY cheaper. Plus you don’t need to buy the Tesla charger. Worth looking into.

Just got my quote to install the @Tesla charger. It came in between $1500 - $2000 because we have to run 75 ft of copper wire. 😬 This is from a trusted master electrician, we went to HS together and he does all my electrical and gives me great to fair pricing. $TSLA

The Starlink stress test begins. At home I keep a ~50tb NAS that keeps all of my client &. creative media. This NAS is synced offsite to another NAS via the internet. > Film & Create content > Offload footage to Home NAS > NAS sends media offsite immediately It's not uncommon to shoot 1tb in a day of work, which all gets sent offsite. We're about to see what Starlink is capable of 🤝

@teslascope 80% of my takeovers are because navigation is wrong. Parking is typically good enough to deal with, but I can't justify turning the wrong way no matter what.

Elon: FSD will soon remember parking preferences per location. Safety critical disengagements are mostly things of the past; most disengagements now happen due to parking preferences/distance from destination.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Upcoming releases of FSD will remember your parking preferences, so that the car goes to the right location at your home, office, school drop off, etc. Destination parking is by far the biggest reason people now intervene with FSD. Critical safety interventions are extremely rare.

Rotating is a big part of it, but there’s a small change that your alignment is off, and bad alignments eat tires for breakfast If the wear is within spec it just needs a rotation (e.g. the back tires are identical wear and the front tires are identical wear) If your tire is extremely worn or worn unevenly, get an alignment (e.g. the inside of one tire is worn much faster than its outside)

@spotted_model When you're passing a speed limit sign, it literally appears on the visualization with the number it sees. If it doesn't appear, it likely didnt see it at all. Certainly something that needs more improvement.

My prediction is years from now, someone’s gonna do a tell-all insider documentary and one of the horrifying facts released will be that FSD doesn’t and never has read road signs
Teslaloosa ❎🏠@teslaloosa

There's a stretch of Hwy 82 north of the river here where the Tesla thinks it's 40 mph in one direction and 50 mph in the other direction (both are 50). We drive past a 50 mph sign the other way and it ignores it. WTF, Tesla? I thought FSD reads the signs!

Started getting these bubbles on my interior light strip in my Model 3. Tesla service is supposed to be here in 2 days to fix. 😬 curious how they plan on doing this with mobile service though. 🤔

@bikelakecity I hope the majority of comments here doesn’t reflect an accurate amount of people or drivers mindset. Why do people get more upset at the idea of a truck getting damaged than the idea that we shouldn’t block paths for pedestrians? What on earth caused this mindset

Hmm, I thought of a good @Tesla HVAC change that should be achievable in software. Have a toggle for "duct temperature" where the HVAC targets a specific temperature of the air coming out of the vents instead of the cabin temperature. My wife HATES HATES HATES when we have it set to 73 (heating) and the vent temperature shifts cooler to maintain the cabin temp. She'd rather adjust the vent temperature (130F when heating as an example) in 1-2 degree increments so that it never (and I mean NEVER) blows cool air when trying to heat. In other words, more like a dumb 1980s ICE car where you control the air temperature leaving the vents with a mixing plenum directly and not a target cabin temperature. @wmorrill3 @larsmoravy @pduan @yunta_tsai @wholemars

Microsoft's hidden Windows 11 trick makes apps launch 70% faster. I tested it on a low-end PC, and early results are promising. Right now, when you click Start, open File Explorer, launch Edge, or right-click for a context menu, and there’s often that tiny micro-stutter before anything happens. Microsoft is now testing a feature called Low Latency Profile. Once turned on, and you do a high-priority action, Windows 11 briefly pushes the CPU to max frequency for 1–3 seconds, finishes the task faster, then drops back down. In my testing on a constrained VM with just 2 cores and 4GB RAM, the difference was obvious. Edge, Outlook, Copilot, and the Start menu opened much faster. CPU usage spiked to around 96–97%, but only for a few seconds. For high-end PCs, the difference may be small. But for budget laptops and low-end Windows 11 machines, this could be a real game-changer.
