Today marks one week since I built this absolute beast of a PC. I want to thank @linusgsebastian and @GamersNexus for being huge inspirations for me to start my own PC building business. You can get your own MonsterBuild for yourself at MonsterBuilds.ca!

“Prime Habs”😂 Habs haven’t even finished building yet. They are literally ahead of schedule, with some of their top prospects not even on the roster yet. Only one or maybe two of their core players have even reached their prime yet.
Goug Dilmour@CanadasLeafs

Prime Tampa Bay Lightning (and two time SC champs) kicked the shit out of Leafs many times in the playoffs, but we also beat them once. Who would have ever thought the Senior Citizens version of the Lightning would take the Prime Habs to seven?

@HabsRule26 @HabsOnReddit Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to say Montreal had a flawless defensive game, but 27-7 is clearly wrong. Vasilevskiy played out of his mind for a handful of big saves.

@MonsterPC_ @HabsOnReddit Heat Map on S-Trick catches TB had way more chances to score in close around the net. There were 3 or 4 chances with Dobes down and out including the one Danault barely stopped from going over the line. Most of Habs shots were perimeter with Iittle traffic especially on PP.

Habs captain Nick Suzuki on his message to his teammates after the OT loss: “Just stay positive. I think we were the better team for pretty much most of that game. We just didn’t score. Andrei Vasilevskiy kinda won them that game.” “I thought everyone played a great game, just didn’t get the result. We’re ready to go down to Tampa and win game 7.”

Interesting, I was using MoneyPuck myself, and their numbers are much closer. 27 high danger scoring chances vs 7 seems way way off as well. I watched the entire game, and it certainly did not look like that. MoneyPuck has 18 combined medium/high scoring chances for Montreal, and 17 medium/high for Tampa.

@MonsterPC_ @HabsOnReddit Not sure what numbers you are referring to? All situations from Natural Stattrick attached (they updated them slightly since last night). High danger chances 79% for TB. x Goals 62% for TB.

@HabsOnReddit Advanced stats show just the opposite: TB dominated across the board. They easily won every category including high danger scoring chances 21 to 7, x Goals For %63.72 to %36.28, Corsi, Fenwick...

Suzuki is now a 100 point player, for the cap space he hits he is more valuable than McDavid from a GM standpoint. Edmonton would need to go into full rebuild mode and only take picks and prospects for Montreal to be willing to make a deal I suspect. Also depends if Montreal considers themselves good enough to go for broke now, or if they value the future assets more than what McDavid brings

If McDavid decides to leave the major trade partners I assume would be Tampa (Vasi++ trade) Montreal (Suzuki+ trade) Dallas (Johntson/Robertson+) Those would be my guess cuz he wants to win and also 3 desirable destinations

@ChrisLaw_WA @ChargePointnet Yes, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries should be charged to 100% regularly, ideally at least once a week, to calibrate the Battery Management System (BMS) and ensure accurate range estimation. This is not required on NMC batteries.

Tesla wants it plugged in so the car can maintain the selected charge limit, handle background system usage, support low-voltage battery maintenance, manage battery temperature, and avoid deep discharge during idle periods. This allows the car to use the wall power, and not have to rely on the high voltage battery. It's best for long term battery health.

@Darkfiber_G @ChargePointnet Untrue, my vehicle uses an NMC battery and the service manual states to always have it plugged in when not driving.

Super fast DC charging is awesome but there are some things to consider here. 1. DC fast charging like a 1.5MW charger requires a ton of energy displacement. If we were to do this in the U.S., our grid would simply not be able to handle it in its current state. 2. Tesla is already going to have their work cut out for them scaling the Tesla Semi 1.2MW charging infrastructure. 3. Regarding the Tesla Semi, they’re using 4680 dry anode and cathode and it’s quite clear those batteries can handle MW charging rates, as we can see with the Semi. They could take this same approach with future vehicles. 4. Tesla Superchargers are actually very fast already—I would say 90% of the time—and they have tremendous uptime of 98%. They’re also the largest network in the world and continue to grow, serving customers with better charging experiences through virtual queuing and Supercharger site maps. To wrap it up, yes the Chinese are ahead in extremely fast DC charging infrastructure and battery tech, but I personally believe fast charging is not a catalyst to EV adoption—simply the ability to charge and have a good experience is. I believe autonomy is a much bigger factor and will affect more people positively than charging 10-80% in 9 minutes. Here is a screenshot of one of my stops on my Virginia trip after traveling over two hours. Five minutes right after I plugged in at 150 kW. We didn’t even have enough time to go across the street and grab a bite to eat. We did and ended up charging for another 15 minutes to take a break. Sometimes having a break when charging is great and needed 👍

So y’all have probably seen the BYD crazy charging claims shown at MFR demos etc I went to a random dealership, found a crashed car, and plugged it in to see what happened More importantly is that the Gen 2 Blade LFP cell that will power every BYD EV is capable of this charging time. This means even the cheapest BYD car will charge just as fast as their top models, and they’ll all reach full in under 10 minutes. 🤯 So, while companies are still launching cars with 10-80% times in the 30 minute range, a little BYD Dolphin will soon do it in around 6 minutes. Go ahead, tell me again how slow charging EVs are acceptable? ⚡️ ⚡️

@rejean_deschene @Anthony8701 @sylverboy19 Plekanec never even broke 30 goals. Caufield is certainly not absent, hes a point per game currently. It is a lot harder when you only play against Tampas shutdown guys. St Louis has to do a better job at giving them higher quality ice time.

DLAA uses the anti aliasing aspect of DLSS, without using the upscaling aspect. Gives you the highest quality possible, as DLAA is the best form of anti aliasing. Performance impact is usually quite small. You do not get any FPS improvement by using it, as that improvement comes from the upscaling aspect of DLSS, which doesn't exist when using DLAA.

This game is 15 years old. > No ray-tracing > No AI upscaling > No frame-gen > Takes only 20gb > Developed in just 3 yrs GTX 580 ran BF3 on Ultra with 1.5gb VRAM Now you drop $1200 on a GPU and can barely hold 60 FPS in modern games without DLSS Why did we go backwards?

@mil000 The common misconception idms that more sensors the less AI. They don't know that Waymo revolutionized the computer Vision AI. I would argue that no one is even close to what Waymo has.
