Whilst conducting crime prevention patrols on foot along Jeppe & Von Wielligh Street in Johannesburg #JMPD TRU officers observed a group of women behaving suspiciously. The officers tactically approached the group to investigate. One of the women appeared distressed & informed officers that the three other females had just robbed her of R2,460.00. Upon searching the suspects, the officers found one of them in possession of the victim’s money. The victim further indicated that the other two suspects had restrained her during the robbery. All three female suspects were immediately arrested for common robbery & detained at Johannesburg Central SAPS. #JMPD remains firm in its stance!!! Lawlessness will not be tolerated.
