Edge is absolutely the top need. If they played today, kc could at least field an average wr room. And the OL has at least above average or better at LT through RG. And RT is at worst below average.
But on defense CB is thinner than a school notebook paper. And your only pass rush is an aging Jones and Karlaftis. Karlaftis is great, but he doesn't have the juice to win fast. He is a cleanup guy. Pass rush can make bad corners look good. But good corners can look average with no pass rush. The Chiefs can afford to ignore every position BUT edge.

The Chiefs desperately need edge pass rusher, cornerback and possibly WR early in the draft.
Ppl in the know keep mocking Tyson at 9 and now Lomu at 29. So an injury prone WR and an OT who wouldn’t start this season.
Seems like I’m wrong about their plans.
