I never took economics, but I can still figure out that when you raise wages it raises prices. No one actually gains anything in the long run. And once the prices go up you are also paying more taxes (based on cost of items). You might end up with more dollars in your pocket, but they buy a lot less.

The best way to make things more affordable? Raise the people’s wages.

Bull. Cornyn has been trying to do that for months and it has not affected Paxton's support at all. Cornyn funded Hunt to try to split the anti-Cornyn vote and was almost tied with Paxton. Most of those Hunt voters will vote for Paxton in the runoff. Radical Talarico will never beat Paxton without a whole lot of cheating.

You people should get your facts before posting. Registering for the draft has been a law since 16 Sep 1940. It required men between 18 and 64 to register. In June of 1948 the modern law was enacted. All men 18 years and older were required to register for selective service and were eligible to be drafted between the ages of 18 and 25. Although the draft was ended in Jan 1973, the requirement for registration was never suspended. The only change now is that men will be automatically registered instead of having to go do it themselves. The draft has not been reinstated.
