The reason I said I think it’s good they didn’t go with this is because, when bringing the classic river raft scene from the book to life, I never envisioned Gwangi carrying that scene. Jurassics Rex has a very specific branded look which would have felt sorely absent. So I’m happy they went with the final design which just looks way cooler.
