@AgroNationalism YAY!! Sign me up! What happened to that promise of straw bales? That was supposed to be the easy to obtain natural and indestructible insulating building material of the 90s. Never hear of it anymore but when i was in one i really liked it.

We are tired of stick built, toxic insulation, drywall with toxic paint, asphalt homes. Lets get creative and get young men building new styles of homes. The money will come. Have faith.

Farmer gets 60 cents for 100 pounds of potatoes. Walmart charges 60 dollars for 100 pounds of potatoes. In the past, prices were lowered so people could save money when there was a surplus and it helped farmers move product. Now corporate greed is wrecking everyone. 🤔

@it_unprofession As an IT professional it’s up to us to propose the best security possible and have your management decline due to cost. It’s the right thing to do for your company and the right thing to cover yourself in situations like this.

Just found out my company is in a lawsuit because someone hacked our customer database two years ago and we never told anyone. I didn't know about the hack. Nobody told IT. Turns out our VP of Sales discovered it, decided it wasn't "that bad" and just... didn't report it. To anyone. Including me. Now we're in federal court and the lawyers are asking me why our security was so weak. I genuinely don't know. Because nobody told me we got hacked. I can't defend against threats I don't know exist. The VP of Sales is blaming IT for "inadequate security measures." I'm sitting in depositions explaining that I can't implement security for breaches I'm not informed about. My CEO pulled me aside and asked if I can "make this go away technically." Make what go away? The hack happened two years ago. The data's been on the dark web for 18 months. He suggested maybe I could "show we've upgraded security since then." We have upgraded security. But not because of the hack. Because I do routine upgrades. Now I have to pretend we did a comprehensive security overhaul in response to a breach nobody told me about.

@financedystop Already have a nat gas water heater? Replace it yourself. Local county here in Ohio requires permit from the Health Department to purchase/install new water heater. I went next county over, purchase a new heater, and installed it myself avoiding the Health Department meddling.

Seattle doesn’t allow natural gas water heaters anymore, forcing residents to switch to electric and it’s made things more complicated
