A 19-year-old motorist was arrested by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department after allegedly driving a grey Audi at 214 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the R21 freeway near Boksburg on Friday afternoon. Officers from the High-Speed Unit recorded the speed during enforcement operations and arrested the teenager for speeding, with an alternative charge of reckless and negligent driving. He was detained at Boksburg North Police Station and is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.

It was okay for me driving behind them at 230 km/h in my audi. They had no lights on, in the fast lane, so I did what they do. Only when I over took them for my exit at the Glen in Jozi, that empd idiot pulled me off, trying to be mucho. So I told him his shit and he let me go. 🤣
