@Maxarick Different market, what is your point? It’s not like Blue Origin or SpaceX could colonise Mars either

Worth noting that in RocketLab's entire existence, they've only put a little over one Starlink launch worth of mass into orbit

CACL was spotted carrying a rocket stage at early Feb. Possible another CZ-12B to JSLC?

@Truthful_ast The first stage is 7 metres in diameter, the same as new Glenn, the rocket is slimmer in the upper half but still remains to be ~5 metres. Neutron is different because it’s wider then most for its height.

Neutron is one of the worst rockets in modern spaceflight history Imagine designing your booster which should be super efficient due to Earth’s gravity to be half rocket and half empty space due to the long interstage and fairing And then build it out of the most inefficient structure type for rockets, carbon fiber…

What looks to be a Neutron interstage test article has been rolled out at @RocketLab's Middle River Md. facility. 📸@jmanfloppy

@AJ_FI But their strategies are very well constructed, I am sure investors would pour money into a company with completed launch & recovery infrastructure, many successful methalox engine tests and successful VTVL tests. The have major underdog potential

China's iSpace has announced a staggering $729 million (5 billion yuan) in D++ series funding. This appears to be the largest round so far for a Chinese launch company, despite a far from stellar launch record & no liquid rocket launch attempt to date. mp.weixin.qq.com/s/_Wz1_mQPKPdy…

@TAbusnardo Do you see orienspace Gravity-2 launching this year, they are claiming a launch in mid 206 but all we have seen from the development is a single engine test

Last week, an article claimed Nayuta Space has been in arrears with employee salaries since Oct. then just after the publication the company announces new fundraising... Nayuta's engine provider, Beijing Aerospace Prop. Tech. recently gave sign of life, none of this v promising..

According to Yang Liwei, the Wangyu Lunar EVA suit will complete its electrical , structural , thermal control environment test in 2026 and will enter the Flight model R&D Phase following this, a phase which typically precedes operational readiness by less than 2 years.

For the first time, with 4 boosters! 🚀 Flight #VA267 is set to liftoff from @EuropeSpacePort in French Guiana on 12 February between 16:45–17:13 GMT (17:45–18:13 CET, 13:45–14:13 local time). With four boosters, Ariane 6 will take 32 satellites for @Amazonleo constellation to low-Earth orbit.

@GrumpyG53751044 @raz_liu It is. CZ 10 is made up up 3 boosters. One single booster is the CZ 10A. More accurately this is a sub scale test of the CZ 10A

Upper cover has been removed of the CZ-10 test stage. Showing the grid-fins & hooks. And we have movements of the stage recovery barge. It has left the shipyard, destination unknown. There is a chance may be they would do the Max-Q abort & VTVL tests in one launch.

No one understands how insane this is, China is gonna launch four new reusable rockets in the first half of the year. Meanwhile the new reusable American rockets aren’t launching until mid-late 2026 with some not even doing reusable attempts😭😭
Andrew Jones@AJ_FI

And out of nowhere, while Long March 10 series tests are being readied at Wenchang, the reusable Long March 12B has had a successful static fire test today at Jiuquan. This is a kerolox rocket, while the recently debuted 12A is methalox.

At Phantom Space, we believe the future of free and prosperous civilization depends on opening the new frontier of our solar system and, ultimately, on unlocking and transforming the resources of this vast new realm. Visionaries and dreamers have spoken about the promise of becoming a spacefaring civilization for the last century, but commercial activity (and, thus, civilization-scale progress) remains limited in space due to high barriers to entry, limited competition, immature infrastructure, and high operating costs. Frontiers do not open on their own; they open due to the initiative of doers, builders, and risk takers who unleash new kinds of abundance, shatter bottlenecks, and create new opportunities for the economy to grow. We believe the commercial space economy is close to a civilizational tipping point such that building the right kinds of capacity on Earth and scaling the right sort of network architecture in Earth orbit can unleash in an explosion of economic growth and usher in a new golden age. But this hopeful future won’t come about by doubling down on current trends or by following the design of central planners. We believe a new approach is needed to initiate the next great wave of the commercial space revolution and we are committed to making it happen.
