The Pandonia Global Network will also have a 2 NASA Pandora instruments deployed at this site, providing complimentary measurements of total column O3 and NO2.

New scanning DOAS at #MountStHelens collects sunlight; software checks spectra for absorption features from volcanic gases. MultiGAS & DOAS represent state-of-the-art in gas monitoring. Project is part of NOVAC — observatories that run scanning DOAS at ~45 volcanoes worldwide.

I am delighted to start a summer internship with @NASAGoddard and @GsfcPandora . I will be working on stray light characterization and correction for The NASA Pandora Spectrometer system.

Boundary layer ozone lidar profiles from yesterday's ozone exceedance in Maryland from the GSFC TOLNet system (@jo3hnsullivan). Plot starting yesterday at 12:30 LT until now. This emphasizes the importance of ozone profiles and nocturnal observations.

Work today! The ozone Brewers in their winter coats. The pandora is back and the sun photometer was working hard to find the sun as it played hide and go seek with the clouds! And of course our new radar sparkling in the sun!
