I’ve now seen that YouTube can provide creators with specific reasons when a channel is demonetized for “inauthentic content” — including:
✅ flagged video URLs
✅ policy details
✅ a written explanation of what was considered problematic
That is exactly what I am asking for in my case.
My channel @MaskedCreator2099 was demonetized for “inauthentic content”, but I still don’t know:
❓ Which videos were flagged?
❓ Which exact policy was applied?
❓ Why exactly was my content considered “inauthentic”?
Instead, I keep receiving generic replies and being sent back into the same support loop.
My videos are not automated, not mass-produced and not a content farm. I produce everything myself:
One video usually takes around 6 days to produce, and I normally upload only one video per week.
As an EU creator, I also have rights under the EU Digital Services Act. Platform decisions should be transparent and specific enough for creators to understand what caused the action.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am only asking for the same transparency other creators have received.
Please tell me exactly:

🚨 PRECEDENT: YouTube CAN — and BY LAW MUST — give you specific reasons. Not templates. Not "wait 90 days." Below is the proof. Our channel was demonetized for "Inauthentic Content." First @TeamYouTube response? Template. Generic refusal. "Wait 90 days." Nothing actionable. Then — sustained public pressure + a formal legal notice citing DSA Article 17 and P2B Regulation + post on our page URBAN STUDIO — and YouTube was forced to come back with: ✅ a specific policy clause ✅ specific video URLs that were flagged ✅ an actual written explanation That is the bare minimum YouTube owes every single creator under EU law. Article 17 of the Digital Services Act requires an individual statement of reasons with specific facts and circumstances — not a copy-paste reply. The decision in this case is still wrong — and we are not stopping until it is reversed. But the precedent matters. You now have one too. What to do if you get a template: ➡️ Demand the specific videos flagged ➡️ Demand the specific policy clause ➡️ Cite "DSA Article 17" in every appeal and every DM ➡️ Tag this post @TeamYouTube and @urban_studio_yt ➡️ Do not accept "wait 90 days" as an answer If you keep getting a template instead of specifics — that itself is a DSA violation, and we will help you document it for the formal complaint file. 🔄 Repost this.
