Given the recent acts of violence against the hospital, medical workers and looting of medical equipment and supplies in Ulang, we want to express our solidarity with @MSFSouthSudan. #SSOT. #SouthSudan.

The killing of first responders is a stark reminder of how dangerous Gaza is for civilians, and for humanitarian workers who risk everything to save lives. This incident must mark a turning point.

In #Haiti, #health, #hospital and #ambulance personnel may face the need of contributing to de-escalate unforeseeable external violent situations during the deployment of their #medicalmission. In the context of a highly volatile security situation, the #ICRC team in #PortauPrince facilitated, last week, as a matter of urgency, a workshop on the subject. The workshop was addressed to the National Ambulance Service of Haiti, counting on the attendance of MSF and the Hatian Red Cross as well. Patients, health, hospital and ambulance personnel must be respected and protected. The medical mission must be facilitated in all circumstances.
