What if Trump is setting Putin up? All US intel supports the conclusion that he is not ready for any concessions. Give him the room, let him make an assof himself, everyone leaves pissed off and let the next round begin on the gorund and in the air.
Peaceniks can be muted by that outcome and the pressure can be applied to end the war in 2025 on Ukraine terms as closely as possible.
Regardless of the intent, this will be the result.
