Extreme price movements, whether it be a parabolic squeeze or market crash are almost always due to forced liquidity of positions.

@NickNelsonMN .... And according to the metrics Arcia was grade -1 at shortstop in 2025. Part of the reason Atlanta let him go.

Orlando Arcia is slashing .310/.369/.574 with 8 HR in 33 games at Triple-A. How long until we see him back up in the bigs?

@NickNelsonMN Get his defense is solid but career .660 ops, not sure I'd be talking up his AAA numbers at the plate. Pretty sure Wallner & Lewis tear up AAA as well. Arcia has 3k career at bats, his ceiling as a hitter is AAAA. Giving up on Royce Lewis or when Wallner for Arcia is crazy talk

@NFL_DovKleiman I literally didn’t see one special thing in this video that separates this clown from any other nfl athelete. This is the most vanilla “training” video I’ve ever seen.

@KylePWren @TheChicagoPope Bio says "Jesus was a liberal," I'm sure this kike wouldn't completely make this post up. There are pitchers more washed in the Twins Bullpen. These snowflakes make up lies to support their distorted view of the world.

The first sentence, I think, is the main issue going on with teams not signing him. (Understandable) Some of the comments after are ridiculous. Wouldn’t make the Low A team? That is an absolutely ludicrous statement. Assuming that was hyperbolic end to the conversation with “friend”

Texted my friend who works in a high level position in a MLB front office to ask him if he had any insight into why Trevor Bauer isn’t getting any traction in the MLB again. This is his verbatim response, copied and pasted with permission: “No interest in him for yrs. PR nightmare, players don’t want him around, control freak and a diva, wants special treatment. League minimum talk on X is a desperation play for clicks, eyeballs. Every scouting dept monitors NPB, MEX. Velo+spin down, control diminishing. Workout programs took backseat to YouTube career, shows on field. Doesn’t have the stuff to make a 40man, wouldn’t make our LowA roster. Would be shocked if he ever gets even a minor league deal again. Def won’t with us, friends in other offices say same.” Nature is healing. 🥰🥰🥰
Trevor Bauer (トレバー・バウアー)@BauerOutage

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

🇺🇸 A video from 2013 is making the rounds again. A police officer in Illinois shoved a DUI arrestee into a cell and her face hit the concrete bench, shattering bones and teeth on impact. Cassandra Feuerstein was 47, already in custody, already restrained, and Officer Michael Hart pushed her hard enough to fracture her face in multiple places, on camera, in a police station, in front of nobody who stopped it. She sued, settled for $875,000, and the taxpayers covered it. Hart covered nothing. The public got the invoice for someone else’s violence.

@amyknowsball You know boys don't notice much about woman until maybe age 10 or 11. And by that age we've already seen at least this much on television. It's an odd flex but I don't think it's worth worrying about.

We always debate about whether top tier Japanese players are capable of making the jump to MLB, and here comes last year’s worst qualified pitcher in the NPB begging for a contract

@BMTNSports Tired of healing how Wallner has a "great arm." It doesn't matter if you have a great arm if you camp under a fly ball and take a half second longer to get the ball home. Sac Fly today Wallner took way to long to crow hop. Average mlb right fielder at best

@BauerOutage If the league doesn’t take you back at some point. I’m done as a fan. It’s just morally and ethically wrong and anyone who has two brain cells know why you are being black balled. Through all of it you have been professional when most others wouldn’t. I give you tons of credit.
