@CynicalPublius I had this conversation about 5 years ago. Showed her my wages, our mortgage rates, and stories about the gas lines. She was surprised and it changed a lot of her opinions about life. Now that she has also landed a lucrative job, she has become very aware of what taxes are.

In this video, I learned that Graham Platner and his wife have been married since 2023, and not only do they have a marriage counselor, but they each have their own individual therapists as well. So 3 therapists to help one couple stay together and “deal with their mental health” as his wife put it. If you need 3 therapists to cope with day to day life, you should not be in the US Senate. Insane.
