Introducing the Bureau of the Seventh Legislature of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), composed as follows: • President (North Africa): Hon. Fateh Boutbig- Algeria. • First Vice-President (East Africa): Hon. Dr Ashebir Gayo- Ethiopia. • Second Vice-President (West Africa): Hon.Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings - Ghana. • Third Vice-President (Central Africa): Hon Djidda Mamar Mahamat - Chad. • Fourth Vice-President (Southern Africa): Hon. Arlete da Visitacao- Angola.
Today 13 April 2024 is the last day of the national commemoration week, but commemorative activities will continue in #Rwanda and abroad during these 100 days of #Kwibuka30. This day, we also honour the memory of politicians killed, during the 1994 genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi, for who they were and/or for their opposition to the genocidal machine. We should remember that many of those politicians were killed with their families, including some, like the families of Labour Minister Landoald Ndasingwa (@PL_Rwanda), Maître Félicien Ngango (@PSD_RW), Information Minister Faustin Rucogoza (MDR) and Kibungo Prefect Godefroid Ruzindana (@PSD_RW), which were completely wiped out. Today, I remember all these families, in particular Ndasingwa's children, the tall and beautiful Malaika and her brother Patrick, always wearing a "Cincinnati" black hat, who were few years behind me in secondary school. I also remember my young friend Bertrand Kabota Nzamurambaho, who was only 15 years but was proudly wearing cowboy boots. May their souls continue to rest in peace 🙏🏾!
