🎯On the 15th of June I will start my employment tribunal Vs Royal Free NHS and Dr. Jane Hawdon. After 16 years of service they suspended me after a single complaint from a member of staff from a different hospital, I had not worked with for nearly 10 years. I was not shown the complaint until weeks after my suspension and I was told to delete social media posts that Hawdon did not show me. They suspended me within hours of that complaint which was about social media posts calling out the rape, baby killing and corruption of the Israeli government. The complaint was of course constructed on the IHRA - A flawed tool built to silence opposition to the Israeli regime. The case is public and you can attend in person or request to attend online via the court serve website. I will be encouraging the Press to attend as I believe this case will set some important precedents and be a crucial insight into what happens behind the scenes - also known as disclosure. Having had my grievance ignored by HR, the Executive Board, the non Executive Board and ultimately NHSE. This will be my opportunity to be heard. My regulator contacted me today to inform me of the outcome of an investigation triggered by complaints made against me related to my views on Israel and Gaza. Its the 4th investigation in 2 years. The findings: NO WRONGDOING I wont be intimidated, bullied or harassed into silence. Israel is a terrorist apartheid state committing genocide against the Palestinian people and i will never stop speaking out against it.

🇸🇩 SUDAN | Save the Children CEO Janti Soeripto, just back from Darfur, tells CBS Sudan is “the world’s worst humanitarian crisis,” and the one that gets the least attention relative to the need. Soeripto said it took 4 days of travel just to reach the first school her organization supports. In northern Darfur, she found 700,000 displaced people in a single stretch of desert — the vast majority in women-led households, after men were killed, disappeared, or conscripted. She described a colleague who walked for days with her 16-year-old daughter to escape sexual violence, bearing visible scars from fighting off attackers. “So many don’t have that,” Soeripto said of the relatively fortunate outcome. The UN says 13 million people, mostly women and girls, require support related to sexual violence. Save the Children has roughly 150 staff in Darfur. All of them have lost their homes. An estimated 33.7 million people in Sudan require urgent humanitarian assistance, leaving the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) facing a massive funding shortfall of approximately $2.27 billion (~80% of 2026 needs).

🚨🚨BREAKING -- The International Criminal Court (ICC) is pursuing five new arrest warrants for Israeli officials including finance minister Bezalel Smotrich and national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israeli media reports. Smotrich's ministry of finance owns an arms factory in Britain named Pearson Engineering, which was recently awarded a £10m contract by the Ministry of Defence. "A diplomatic source said the other senior officials are settlement minister Orit Struck and two military personnel", according to Haaretz. It remains unclear who the military personnel are. The UK government allowed the IDF's former chief of staff Herzi Halevi and its air force commander Tomer Bar to secretly visit Britain amid the Gaza genocide, with the Foreign Office giving them with "special mission" immunity to protect them from prosecution for war crimes.

Bar Council Chair statement on contempt of court case Barrister Rajiv Menon KC has won an appeal on an important point of lack of jurisdiction. In a ruling on Tuesday, the Court of Appeal stopped Mr Menon's forthcoming case, saying there was no jurisdiction for the High Court to hear the case. But the senior judges left the option for the challenge to be resumed under correct procedural powers. Chair of the Bar Kirsty Brimelow KC said: “I have followed with concern this exceptional attempt to refer Rajiv Menon KC for contempt of court. A barrister has a duty to represent their clients fearlessly and judge-instigated contempt proceedings risk a chilling effect on the profession. The Court of Appeal judgment is welcomed, and it is hoped that this now is an end of this troubling episode."

Masked men carried out an arson attack targeting the prayer room of Café Raha in Blackburn at 2:30am on Monday. Whoever did this clearly wanted to intimidate and scare the local Muslim community.

In the UK, you can now be jailed as a terrorist, despite not committing a terror offence, not being charged with a terror offence, and not being convicted of a terror offence. Even worse, the jury can't be told that you'll be sentenced as a terrorist for your non-terror offence.

This should scare everyone, because if a jury of your peers, tasked with ensuring fairness and impartiality, finds you guilty of a crime, a judge shouldn’t be able to quietly add something the jury were never even asked to consider.
