@QuentinDempster @lynlinking @AngusTaylorMP @mattjcan Seeing that Pauline Hanson is just a Liberal from way back (although from the particularly racist end of that continuum) it is no wonder. They always do.
English

There it is folks: Pauline Hanson wants to privatise the ABC via the paid subscription model (regional radio excepted). She’s confirmed this with Chris Kenny ‘Sky After Dark’. Does sidekick Barnaby agree? And what about @AngusTaylorMP and @mattjcan?

@Carla_SHA_2 @Qldaah @Jasonsmumr Very good idea.
But if you drive you’ll know how hard it is for a car to dodge a fast moving maneuverable bike ridden by young still developing kids.
English

@Hadfickla @Qldaah @Jasonsmumr Most of the statistics were cars running over e-bikes
Maybe they should have the strict laws on bloody cars
English

Queensland Premier Campbell Newman had his war on the bikies. Now Premier David Crisafulli has his war on the e-teens. A raft of changes for kids & parents who own e-bikes & e-scooters starting with under 16s being banned. #qldpol

Some personal news. My wife Lyn has been taken off chemotherapy after four years of treatment for AML leukaemia. Very proud of her and grateful to the Specialists and Staff at the amazing Haematology Unit at Newcastle Mater Hospital. Thankyou to everyone who have been so kind.
Minister @Mark_Butler_MP it would be worthwhile to look at their regional delivery model.

Don Farrell is an underestimated member of the Labor team, has done such a great job as Minister for Trade and Tourism
A reminder who created the mess he had to clean up, his predecessor was Dan Tehan #abc730

@wheelreinvent @TonyHWindsor @AntonyGreenElec The term ‘Duopoly’ in the context of Australian elections is now used as a derogatory description.
Previously, having two parties capable of forming government was seen as a strength and a way to avoid instability shown in nations with too many factions.
Interesting, isn’t it?
English

@TonyHWindsor @AntonyGreenElec I understand how it works just fine - I'm saying that the way it works is bad and designed to perpetuate the 2 party duopoly
English

Australians will tell you there’s no propaganda here then turn on the TV to watch @AntonyGreenElec tell them that this sort of thing is fine
Wheel reinventor@wheelreinvent
An electoral system that can produce this result from these preferences isn’t a democracy, it’s a corrupt joke

@bobjcarr @RichardYabsley Their ignorance is hard to believe….

Nice to have mum come along to Adelaide last week for my keynote address at the KWY conference - good to get a professional shot of us too.
My mum wasn’t even a citizen of her own country when she was born. In 1962 she had to go to court to obtain citizenship-and had to renounce her culture for it.
She still managed to close the gap for all five of her children in one generation.

@TracyWesterman Dreadful, wasn' t it? I remember Linda Burney saying something similar about her own parents when I heard her speak in 1982. I was so shocked, having not known anything about it until then.
Lovely photo.

@ricketyclik @YoungWazza2 Oh yes…when they are kept down by the lawn mower they catch even more unawares.
English

@YoungWazza2 They are NOT bindis. Bindis are much smaller

@MarilynRaven6 @hcl2010 I think it depends on the angle, but she seems a lot happier & putting weight on it again. The battle now is to stop her from chasing motorbikes/ trucks/ school bus because if she fractures that joint it won’t heal 😞
