3/17/23 I was gonna walk into traffic on the interstate across from where I worked around 10am. I sat on the curb at work parking lot in the rain. I had “Suicidal Thoughts” on repeat in my earbuds. I started to write my final texts while bawling and I finally noticed the rain on my blue suede Nike Blazer High. That “snapped” me out of it. I cared about my shoes. They’re my fave & I didn’t want to ruin them. There are more I’m afraid. But this day was the closest & most prominent.

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me, a partridge in a pear tree. Ate it.
