I read a quote today of Carlos Paredes, a recognized genius of Portuguese Guitar (of whom I had never heard), who kept a normal job. It stopped me dead in my tracks in its implications as it runs counter to so much of what we advise: “[I love] music too much to live from it.” All thanks go to @Spufenplow for this pointer.

@ericweinstein Carlos Paredes was a genius. Unrelated to the quote but Jimmy Page apparently said he owns a Portuguese Guitar but was never able to learn it because "it only obeys to the Portuguese soul". Paredes is the embodiment of that Portuguese soul. Listen to "Verdes anos"

Update: A new largest victim was found on Tron with 7.95M USDT stolen, The five biggest losses account for $17M. My graph has now surpassed $35M in total stolen.

Some things to note about this hack. Largest single victim I have observed is for 2.8M USDT. Multiple other losses for 6 figures across different chains. Thanks to all of the victims who have messaged me their transaction hash. The root cause is still tbd.
