@meghan_daum Good listen. Regarding the lawsuits, am curious to know what impact the SCOTUS Grants Pass ruling could (hypothetically) have someday. And more recently, the LACBOS delay of SB43 ended in LA County (did they use the 2 years to build the facilities/plan they claim they needed?).

You can’t be serious. The reason drug courts disappeared in California is because they couldn’t enforce rehabilitation programs by threatening a misdemeanor over their heads. The entire reason California court drugs saw moderate success is because they were able to wield a “big stick” (a felony charge) as the alternative to a rehab program (of which many still relapsed and reoffended). Just think about this for two seconds. You think a crack fiend is going to feel incentivized towards a 12-month rehab program because he may be facing a $200 fine? He has $10 to his name and it’s already allocated to the next bag. This is why Trump won on “common sense.” It’s astounding that even when liberals get so close to waking up, they sabotage themselves into the same failed solution they’ve implemented a dozen times before. Come on, Ana.

Correct. I in fact do not want to see human beings living outside in squalor. This was in the context of our politicians failing AMERICANS as they engage in endless favors for foreign countries. How is this a controversial opinion? If you're on the left and you WANT to see homeless encampments, YOU are the problem.

No one moved here because it’s well-governed, and in fact people move or stay here despite that (to be clear, it’s not ALL on Newsom).

@tracewoodgrains @moultano Also, CA has a horrible affordability crisis, highest # of unsheltered homeless (with 24 billion unaccounted for dollars spent on it), is now tied for worst unemployment rate in the US, etc. (see screenshots). All this despite high taxes and a Dem supermajority since 2012!
