I actually believe this team is better than years past, and I was so beyond wrong about picking the Sens over them, but we need to call it like it is: First, it was how they were different with Guentzel. Then it was how they were different with Stankoven and Hall. Now it’s how they’re different with Ehlers and Miller. They’re always “different.” But the reality is they’re 1-16 in the ECF since winning in 2006. It’s fair to say they look better, but we can’t say they’re truly different until they actually prove it.

Why partake in this hobby just to act miserable everyday? This is a voluntary form of leisure & entertainment. No one is forcing you to pay for anything. Be grateful you even have extra money to spend on shiny cardboard. A lot of people don’t have that luxury. “OMG the new Pikachu is $1200 it should only be $600!” Meanwhile there are entire families budgeting $100 to food for the week. Have perspective. Be grateful.
