@CJNitkowski "CAR-mel" vs. "CARE-uh-mel" is a discussion point in the McAuley household. For my money, it's less egregious than the "cray-ons" vs. "crowns" debate.

@grantmcauley @CJNitkowski If I'm eating sweet gooey candy its CARE-uh-mel.... if I'm visiting a famous California town it's CAR-mel (by the Sea). I also have different pronunciations for Caribbean and Augustine.

Considering the context and circumstances – with the slim chance based on precedent that a 162-game suspension isn't forthcoming – I can confident say that Jurickson Profar is the worst free-agent signing in #Braves history.

There could have been more but that sticks out to me. Honestly he could have pitched to anybody he damn well pleased because he got results.

Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. Just as the founding fathers intended.
