Carol Vorderman yet again attacks Nigel Farage, declaring “Nigel Farage is not the Messiah… he’s just going to make it even worse.” The ex Countdown numbers girl went on a wild rant claiming Farage is “hugely loathed” by two-thirds of the population and that Reform UK are conning working families with fake council tax promises. She accused the party of raising bills in areas they control and said Farage is “thin-skinned” and will only divide the country further. Vorderman also took a swipe at Reform’s billionaire donor, questioning whether he actually cares about places like Warrington. Carol is now supporting boob whisper Zack Polanski and the Greens

@RealDonKeith Perhaps she should have a conversation with a survivor of these Muslim gang rapes. She can explain reality to her. But based on even that short clip I’d hazard a guess she’s mildly retarded.

There’s a mosque just minutes’ walk from the route of Tommy Robinson’s racist riots. The Met needs to cancel it.

For all those people out there that begrudge pensioners receiving a measly pension, they still pay Council Tax, pay for food, heating & other bills. Illegal migrants pay for nothing. Why don’t you begrudge this? Why do you begrudge elderly people when they’ve paid taxes all their lives but don’t begrudge unknown people who’ve paid nothing. Why?

@beesley_cathy And what exactly stops the minimum wage starting their own business? And being like Peter?

Peter does not live on the minimum wage. He relies on Universal Credit to top up his workers’ wages to a survivable level so he is nicely off. We pay for people like Peter to run businesses while paying starvation wages.
Peter McCormack 🏴‍☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪@PeterMcCormack

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.

Police describe the Golders Green suspect as a "British national born in Somalia." Correction: the suspect is a Somalian who, by the sounds of it, was very stupidly given British citizenship. We deserve to know how, when, why.

Why do leaders of the Greens have such difficulty naming the particular demographic likely to be most ‘shaken’ and ‘affected’ by two men from their community having their throats cut on a London street?

@HarryDannison01 @PhilipProudfoot To be honest, you’re right! Although all the same, I think reading the original post, it is plain that by attack he means to reject these bad faith arguments, make clear why they are being made, to whose benefit.

As Greens we are entering the biggest test of our resolve. The establishment — from Ed Balls to the Metropolitan Police — have entered into the extreme derangement stage. We must ensure the lessons of 2017-2019 were learned. Attack bad faith bullshit. Do not entertain it.

The reason Zack Polanski is under attack? The surge of the Greens has terrified both political and media elites. They thought they’d buried the left. And now they’re doing anything and everything to end their worst nightmare - a powerful left.

So two Jewish people got stabbed by a mentally ill guy in the UK, no one died, there’s no evidence that it was a hate crime or that it has any political relevance whatsoever, and yet it still dominated the news cycle way down here in Australia for a full day. What the fuck, man.

Hold on - what? If police officers think someone might be carrying explosives, protocol is to kick them in the head repeatedly like this? Is that actual police protocol? If so, how is it a wise police protocol? Can someone explain the reasoning?
Sky News@SkyNews

.@KamaliMelbourne: 'The video of the Golders Green terror attack arrest shows the officers kicking this individual in the head. Is that appropriate force to use?' Met Police Commissioner: "In most situations it wouldn't be reasonable, but in that situation it was reasonable."

How can this be?" "We're the fifth richest country in the world" "It doesn't have to be that way" "The reason Keir Starmer needs to go is because he is weak, because he lacks vision and because it's a time when we need bold courage and we need to really transform the systems that we have so that ordinary people's lives are made easier, so that bills come so that we stop kowtowing to profit" "And we have a much fairer, economy"
