Shawarma in Toronto is some of the worst garbage I have ever had (speaking as a 1/2 Leb) - sorry. The fact that there are 36 Osmow’s locations in Toronto/Mississauga/Brampton (combined) is the only data point you need to know it’s trash. Montreal has the best food in Canada (and Ottawa specifically for Shawarma). Period. Toronto for east Indian + West Indies, of course. But that’s about it. (Scale is on authenticity and quality, not popularity)
Toronto legit has incredible authentic Arab food, Asian food, Jamaican food, American food, South American food, etc. all within the same general area
