If the display of community flags is not permitted, then all flags and symbols including those of @official_dgar should also be restricted, with only the Indian national flag allowed. Each logo or flag symbolizes identity and pride for different communities. Absolutely outrageous that in the dead of the night, Govt has taken up in #LokSabha, the Statutory Resolution to approve President's Rule in #Manipur. Not only did Govt wait till end of #BudgetSession to bring it up (it is a constitutional requirement for President's Rule to be approved by #Parliament), but actually brought it up at 2am, after a 14+ hour debate on Waqf Amendment Bill! Why? What is there to hide? Kiren Rijiju justified it by saying that we are already sitting late, lets pass this also! Taking #Parliament's approval for #President's Rule in #Manipur so casually! Goes on to show how uncomfortable Govt is with answering questions on #ManipurCrisis! Opposition MPs objected but the Speaker insisted that the Resolution will be taken up now. MPs forced to rush with their speeches. Democracy?

Zomi Students' Federation ZSF-GHQ today raised several issues faced by students & youths belonging to the Zo ethnic tribes in Manipur during the North East Students & Youth Parliament 2025 organised by @ABVPVoice in Delhi. ZSF-GHQ raised the issue of the need to make Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) fully functional. Several other issues raised were those of the need to establish centers for competitive & other exams; the backlog in admission & seats in various educational institutes, the need to establish higher & technical institutes in the Hills districts to name a few. During a 10 minutes informal interaction with Piyush Goyal, Additional Secretary, MHA, ZSF-GHQ raised the issue of the need for a political solution as the means to end the unending ethnic conflict.
