On Memorial Day (May 25), Minnesota Governor Tim Walz skipped the Fort Snelling National Cemetery Memorial Day ceremony — where he was listed as a speaker — to instead visit George Floyd Square and dance with the crowd. Multiple people with direct knowledge confirmed Walz was a no-show for honoring fallen veterans and service members. Instead, he chose to mark the 6th anniversary of George Floyd’s death. He even did some dancing there (seen in this AI video). One attendee said: “We are supposed to honor our heroes, and he blows off the veterans? What a slap in the face.” Priorities speak volumes.
