As per Indian Railways, the South Coast Railway Zone has been newly created. Its headquarter is at Visakhapatnam. Some concerns have been raised about the stations included in this zone. The factual position is clarified below- ● Palasa - Ichchapuram Section (~ 50 km) consists of 7 stations namely Palasa, Summadevi, Mandasa Road, Baruva, Sompeta, Jhadupudi and Ichchapuram. All these stations are situated in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. None of these stations is located within Odisha. ● These stations are small to mid-sized stations handling primarily passenger traffic. None of them is a major freight loading point. ● Therefore, ECoR’s revenue remains unaffected. ● Pass-through freight traffic (trains transiting through these stations en route) will continue uninterrupted regardless of which zone’s jurisdiction the stations fall under. ● Railway operations are seamless across zonal boundaries. ● No disruption to train services. All existing trains including Palasa–Bhubaneswar, Palasa–Cuttack, and Ichchapuram–Cuttack MEMU/passenger services will continue to operate without any change in schedule, route, or frequency. ● This is a technical revision to ensure smooth functioning of the passenger services in Vishakapatnam division. ● The modalities of the transfer, including staff deployment, are being finalised between ECoR and SCoR. The interests and service conditions of all railway employees will be fully protected as per established norms. ● Government’s commitment to Odisha is unwavering. Record capital expenditure on railway network expansion in Odisha, station modernisation, Vande Bharat services, and the newly created Rayagada Division under ECoR are evidence of this commitment.

@DKShivakumar Bangalore progress is strong, but pls prioritize Beyond Bengaluru cities like Mangalore, Mysuru, Hubballi and Belagavi. Now's the moment to elevate 2-3 other cities from Karnataka into the global level. Karnataka's future demands balanced growth beyond Bengaluru.

Generational haters on this platform may mock us for our small numbers, but our regional representation online per capita outweighs any other district in the state.Make your voice heard, fellow Kudladakulu!Once we are loud enough, the world will have no choice but to pander to us

Essay incoming! Mangalore-Udupi-Manipal- where are we headed? @srthkahuja ‘s recent post shone the spotlight on Mangalore’s spurt of Tech companies and jobs, it’s clear that the city has become a compelling option for Nano GCC and GCCs. In fact, the numbers are even greater as tracked by @itssiliconbeach. At last count we are home to 250+ companies employing 30,000+ people. Also we have a vibrant startup ecosystem now nurtured by @TiEMangaluru. We are tracking 400+ startups active in the region. The recent TieCon Mangaluru clearly captured the underlying strengths. What’s better than building businesses from here. Two locally built businesses @NovigoSolutions and Niveus received massive investments/exits from R systems and NTT data and the investors are now looking at greater presence in Mangaluru appreciating the ecosystem in which these businesses were built. The real estate and attrition numbers are compelling. These quality of life is pristine with beaches, rivers, water sports, category A floodlit golf course and great culture and culinary traditions. We produce over 15-20k STEM graduates a year from here who have so long had no option but to migrate outward. For the first time, great jobs are emerging closer to home. These aren’t Body Shops and BPOs. These are research, innovation, tech focused establishments. High skill and high paying. Unfortunately the post on IG and then on Twitter gathered a bunch of nay saying voices clamouring against such development. For all those voices out there disputing Mangalore’s need to grow and develop, I can name any number of town that used to be vibrant 20 years ago that have now all but disappeared from the map. All cities are moving. To stay the same is to disappear and die. Development will bring problems and we will have to find solutions. But there is no alternative. Nostalgia and preservation of the present is a placebo. Already comments were made regarding outsiders. There is nothing more disgusting to watch than Bangaluru type outsider miltancy. It goes against every grain of nationalism and nationhood and our people have been welcomed and prospered everywhere. North America, Europe, GCC, Mumbai, Pune, even Bangalore. Let’s not be hypocrites. India offers a fundamental right to live and work where you please and the best talent must shine. Mangalore has grown so far despite the GoK’s traditionally, Bangalore first approach. We hope now that important ministers like @PriyankKharge @MBPatil and our Hon CM @siddaramaiah and DCM @DKShivakumar will push the momentum of incentives and policy to give ‘beyond Bengaluru’ a real push and help to set up a ready template for IT and Industries to setup. The 800 acres as an example, in Balkunje can be a ready to plug and play template with preplanned high speed connectivity to Mangalore and Udupi/Manipal within 30 minutes which would allow development without choking the inner cities but leveraging the talent here. @CaptBrijesh has been vocal for back to Ooru as has @itssiliconbeach with Homecoming which should give us a spurt of talent required to kick start things. When added to the template of Major Port, International Airport, Petrochemical core, healthcare, education, these extra moves would let Mangalore and greater Tulunadu/Karavali region emerge as a significant engine of growth for all of India and not just Karnataka. Mangaloreans worldwide should actively choose Mangalore for expansion of business verticals they lead. Together we can claim the full potential of this region. A Place we proudly call home. @rohithbhat @akhileshb95 @0xastro98 @TVMohandasPai @ShivAroor @smitaprakash @SunielVShetty @vedavyasbjp @bharathshetty_y @KotasBJP @Manju_Bhandary @utkhader @RomalShetty @prashanthp

India’s job story is moving beyond metros. 5 cities where job opportunities are growing faster than salaries: 1. Indore 2. Coimbatore 3. Jaipur 4. Bhubaneswar 5. Lucknow They are neither the highest-paying nor the most glamorous destinations for ambitious professionals. And yet, they are quietly emerging as some of India’s fastest-growing hiring hubs.
