@Daniel__McCarty Hey @Daniel__McCarty, have you ever looked into programmatic advertising? I believe you'll get a higher ROI compared to Google Ads!

I spend >$20,000 every single month on Google advertising for my local business, JunkStart Junk Removal.
I’m tired of it. There’s got to be a better way than giving these enormous tech platforms such a meaningful amount of money in order to be able to try to build a local service business that serves its community.
Why do I have to send 10’s of thousands of $ out of my community to receive the number of leads I need to build a sustainable business? That was created to help the very community I am operating in.
Our Google ROI is hardly profitable, delivers lack luster leads, and is in the business of extracting as much money as possible from local service businesses.
I’m not ok with that. What if I took even half my monthly spend, $10,000, and used it to give back to my community?
What if we used that $10k to partner with local charities, sponsor the local little league, sponsored local toy drives, planted community gardens, etc?
What if we used our commitment to serving our community as our lead source as opposed to sending that money to a digital monopoly?
Would we not be building more brand value in the eyes of our customers?
Do you think our customers would help us if we told them that instead of sending $10,000 every month to Google, we would instead invest that in our local community in exchange for help getting the word out for our services and mission at JunkStart Junk Removal?
I think it’s a powerful idea and one that has been around a long time before Google was even invented. But the past 20 years it has proven increasingly hard to get past the digital toll road.
I want to spend my money on community goodwill, not Google. I think we can build a brand and a movement around using community service as the ultimate sustainable lead source in a community, and bypass the toll we have to send to California.
I’m not talking about a non-profit. I think business is the best, most fun vehicle for service and goodwill in existence. I will charge enough to deliver on our brands promises, make no mistake. But I want to spend my advertising budget in our community, and not on Pay-Per-Click.
I want to learn more about companies who have came to similar conclusions and have had success getting by in from their market.
Please help connect me with others who have done been down this road before. I want to start a movement.

@TheWebsiteFlip 2) Showing your face is great to build trust, but there's something off with the photo.
Not sure if the background is too dark (I get you're probably trying to fit it with the colour scheme).
I get your emails and the photo you use there is better (but I dunno why).

@itsPaulAi I tried your steps typically, but bing chat answer to the promot was it not able to create a Powerpoint macro or VBA.

In 2018, a strategic acquirer looked at my business (with ~1.75M in EBITDA) and told me it was worth $0.
“UNEXITABLE” was the term they used.
And they were completely right.
In 2022, I sold that same business for $26M.
Now, I invest in companies currently worth less than their annual cash flow and turn them into sellable businesses with the founding team.
If you want to see the system I use to make all of my portfolio companies worth more money comment 🚀 and I’ll send you a link to a waitlist.

It's become science at this point
This was all done using a simple 3 step conversation script

Now that OpenAI Chat GPT proved that 80% of questions do not require a live internet connection to get an answer. This has been my thesis for decades.
We have been working on a single chip to hold a quantized trained model of a Chat GPT 3.5-like platforms on a local chip.
By having AI not miles away or feet away but nanometers away from the CPU/GPU the universe changes.
Complete AI on a chip will start a revolution just like the microprocessor did.
We will find this AI ultimately in everything needed or not, just like the microprocessor.
However the ability to act in a closed local environment with the knowledge of most of the digital world, will completely remake society.
We have a choice to guide this to greatness or relinquish it to “those who know better”.
One thing you can’t say is: ”I didn’t know this was coming”.
Now—you know.

With funding beyond my piggy bank VC in my garage lab. I will make the first #KnowledgeOnAChip system. This will include the entire text library of Wikipedia plus 3200 directories including first person knowledge of @Quora. No internet is needed. This will change everything.
