.@elonmusk just crossed $800 billion — roughly 2.7% of the entire US GDP. The last person to hold that much of the American economy? John D. Rockefeller in 1913. It took a century for anyone to match him. Rockefeller had oil. Musk has the future.

@Joemann1955 @GOLF_com Can you imagine Biden even being able to stand up and swing a club without shiting in his pants

Penalty for Cameron Young on the second. 😳
He said that the ball moved slightly forward after he addressed it, but he was unsure if his action caused it to move.
The rules officials determined he caused his ball to move, and he was assessed a one-stroke penalty. He was the only person who saw the ball move, but he still called the rules official over. Gentleman's game. 👏

@JoePompliano And ran further than any other horse in the race.

@orangeosuyeoj @SenLBR When I do miss him, I can always have a conversation with someone as responsive as him and as smart as his supporters.

English

@Henry_Reardan @SenLBR Lol you miss Biden. So do I. You live thinking about him.
English

@SecretaryPete It is nice that you demonstrate how clearly you are always wrong.

Americans deserve robust competition & affordable airfares. USDOT supports DOJ's antitrust lawsuit, & we plan to deny the JetBlue-Spirit request for an exemption on their merger deal. We will continue with our own investigation while supporting DOJ's work. transportation.gov/briefing-room/…

@elonmusk Make the Minivan replacement, and I will have one for FL the next day.
English

@SenWarren @JetBlue @SpiritAirlines @JusticeATR @USDOT The biggest problem with your level of stupidity is that it doesn't hurt you but hurts everyone else.
English

I've warned for months that a @JetBlue-@SpiritAirlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares.
@JusticeATR and @USDOT were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation.
This is a Biden win for flyers! apnews.com/article/jetblu…

We now know the Iran war price tag is more like $50 billion - hundreds of dollars per household - and counting.
It's enough to cover all the health insurance premium credits that the Republicans got rid of for this year, and next. It could save rural hospitals, pay teachers, fix roads.
Don't let this White House insult your intelligence by blowing your money on war, then saying America can't afford nice things.
English

@SarahisCensored The challenge is Democrats keep shooting people they disagree with. That make the people who get shot at a little touchy.

If this is the new definition of masculinity in America, count me the hell out.
She had no weapon. At worst, she was irritating. But this response was completely over the top - and flat-out violent.
A real man would have told her to get off his property or called the authorities. This? This is coward behavior.

@IanJaeger29 Disappoint the people that voted for them. That's all the @GOP does
English

@MichaelTLester The War Powers Resolution of 1973 includes a 30-day extension beyond the initial 60-day limit for the president to remove U.S. armed forces from hostilities without congressional authorization.
English

The War Powers Act 60-day clock expires today on U.S. military operations in Iran.
Sec. Hegseth says the clock is "paused" due to a ceasefire, but that language doesn't exist in the law.
Congress now has three choices:
1) Vote to authorize the war.
2) Watch withdrawal begin tomorrow.
3) Do nothing and confirm what has been creeping true for decades: Congress has voluntarily surrendered the war power to the executive. Permanently.
This isn't partisan. It's the law passed in 1973 specifically to prevent this moment after painful experiences in Korea and Vietnam.

@SenatorDurbin Illinois has the 2nd highest gas tax in the country. Gas was highest under Biden.
English

Gas prices just hit a wartime high, inflation is up, & Americans are feeling the pinch of higher prices.
But Senate Republicans for the SIXTH time blocked a resolution requiring Congress to approve further military action against Iran.
Their silence is an endorsement of the President’s questionable strategy.
Peter Baker@peterbakernyt
Oil prices hit a fresh wartime high, surging above $120 a barrel, before pulling back in volatile trading on concerns that the war in Iran could escalate, leading to a longer disruption of fuel supplies from the Middle East. nytimes.com/2026/04/30/bus…

@apinionsvary That is because you Democrats keep shooting people who say things you do not like.

🚔 FUENTES PEPPER SPRAY/BATTERY DOUBLE STANDARD EXPOSED!
Let’s put this in perspective for everyone saying Nick Fuentes was justified in what he did to this woman.
- He immediately pepper-sprayed a woman in the face as she approached his door non-aggressively, just knocking and filming, with no threats or resistance.
- He shoved her so she fell and broke her phone, yelled an expletive, grabbed her phone, and slammed the door.
Now imagine the exact same sequence, but it is a police officer on duty, in uniform, on the street dealing with a woman acting in the exact same manner.
This would be excessive force because:
- Under the Graham v. Connor standard, force must be objectively reasonable based on the severity of any crime (none here), immediate threat to safety (none), and active resistance or flight (none).
- Pepper spray and a physical shove are not justified as an immediate response to a passive, non-threatening encounter.
- Departments’ own policies require de-escalation and verbal commands first in low-threat situations like this.
Realistic consequences for that officer would include:
- Immediate removal from duty and paid administrative leave
- Internal Affairs / Professional Standards investigation
- Near-certain termination for policy violations (excessive force, failure to de-escalate, conduct unbecoming)
- Possible misdemeanor criminal charges such as assault or battery
- A civil lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for excessive force, almost always resulting in a settlement (often tens or hundreds of thousands paid by the city/taxpayers)
- Risk of decertification by the state POST board, making it extremely difficult or impossible to work in law enforcement again
The public outcry would be extreme:
- The bodycam plus civilian video would go massively viral within hours
- Nationwide media coverage, public outrage, protests at the department
- Demands for the officer’s immediate firing and intense scrutiny of the entire agency
The same people justifying this for Nick Fuentes would never justify or accept the exact same actions from a police officer.
Bottom line: If it’s not okay for the police, it’s not okay for Nick Fuentes either.

@LeaderJohnThune & @SenateGOP you will be complicit in this failure if you do not get you Sh!t together NOW.
Acyn@Acyn
Jeffries says everything is on the table legislatively to deal with the Supreme Court: In the new Congress, we’re going to have to do something about this Supreme Court, and let me be very clear: everything is on the table.
English

@BarackObama I do not recall you having much to say about this abomination of gerrymandering of the Democrats to help the criminal Democrats in IL.

English

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
English

@HouseGOP Also, the @SenateGOP could fix all of this but they are as bad as the Democrats
