@Luke_Elvy @Dave1026380452 I’m a big Scott fan but even I admit that he doesn’t have it in the big moments of the biggest tournaments Unbelievable talent but missing something that separates the true greats from the very, very good

Adam Scott shrugs off a sloppy start at Doral - opened with 76 (+4) but bolted home 14 under & bogey free weekend to secure a top finish. It also gets him into the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills - his 100th consecutive major start. Scotty’s longevity & been a delight to witness.

Yes. He’s the most famous entertainer in history. All of the entertainers you mentioned can sit courtside at a NBA game. Michael Jackson could not. @MagicJohnson told the story of how he invited MJ to a Lakers game and it created so much chaos, they had to stop the game. MJ had to leave because fans were leaving their seats to try to get to him. None of the people you mentioned have that level of fame where they can’t attend public events.
Anna 🤍🥀@annhybri

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

@golffan123456 LIV? That would be the PGAT which offers tour cards to the top 10 place getters on the DPWT The PGAT has turned it into a feeder tour and that has nothing to do with LIV

@MacroMicroNMike @JohnWongcgo @TheGalox_ China leads in 66 of 74 technologies tracked You don’t have to look hard to see America going backwards No longer a home to innovation, it’s all about protectionism for Trump cronies & their outdated products

@HerpsNicholas @JohnWongcgo @TheGalox_ Delusional. Chinese are in 5th place and further for LLMs. Chinese are in 3rd place for GPUs. Chinese are in 2nd place for product design. Chinese are in 4th place for humanoids. They only lead in telecom tech, drone tech, and manufacturing tech.

@HealthRanger Good! Let them manufacture in here in the United States. We are the world’s top consumers. It’s a privilege to have access to our market. You’re smart enough to know that tariffs protect domestic production and jobs. It’s almost like you want America to fail Mike.

If you're American, you won't be allowed to buy the best vehicles in the world any longer. And Trump is also slapping European auto makers with new tariffs, too. All the protect a failing U.S. auto industry that churns out overpriced crap, for the most part. With arguably Tesla being at least far ahead on the tech side with FSD and EV innovation.
Li Zexin 李泽欣@XH_Lee23

Ford CEO Jim Farley: We should not let Chinese EVs into the US. Jim himself drove a Chinese Xiaomi Su7 and has been to China 6-7 times a year. He said, "It's the most humbling thing I've ever seen. They have far superior in-vehicle tech." Can't win, so they ban.

@HerpsNicholas @JohnWongcgo @TheGalox_ Tim Cook is a communist Democrat. His operations rely on having positive relations with China so ignore his words. The US has more skillful high end workers. The difference is China has more mid-skill workers. If what you said was true IPhone would be designed in China too.

@HerpsNicholas @JohnWongcgo @TheGalox_ No, Giga Texas is on par but cheap Chinese labor and 0 energy regulation makes it cheaper to produce. The old Fremont factory had quality issues, not teslas from Texas (where all of my current teslas are from). The quality is the same now.

@MarioNawfal Iran has no cards. We are happy with the status quo. Permanent blockade on Iran using the Strait. Super cheap and easy.

RECAP: Iran submitted another peace proposal to the U.S which Trump doubted would get them across the line... before he'd even reviewed it. At this point, kids arguing in a playground look like better diplomats. The 100% effective blockade that Trump called foolproof just let another Iranian tanker slip through carrying 1.9 million barrels of oil. Trump's math is still a hot topic of debate. Netanyahu announced Israel was buying 2 new squadrons of F-35 and F-15 fighter jets so they could maintain their aerial dominance for the next few decades. We all know what that means. And if that wasn't enough to make you despair about humanity, Israel's National Security Minister, Ben Gvir, celebrated his 50th birthday with a cake from his wife bearing a noose and the message, "Sometimes dreams come true." He's the one who pushed through a new law allowing Israel to execute certain Palestinian prisoners. Fking sickening.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

RECAP: -Iran officially announced it will no longer discuss its nuclear program until a permanent peace agreement is reached. That's Tehran taking the central U.S. demand completely off the table. The diplomatic track just got significantly thinner. -Kuwait exported zero barrels of crude oil in April 2026. First time since the 1990 Iraqi invasion. A core American ally just had its entire export economy shut down by geography. -New Washington Post-ABC-Ipsos poll: 61% of Americans say Trump's military force against Iran was a mistake. CNN polling shows 77% blame Trump for rising gas prices, including 55% of Republicans, the highest president's-own-party number ever recorded. -Trump opened the door to American energy companies eventually operating inside Iran "like Venezuela." Could be his preview of what a post-war settlement looks like. -Trump posted a 300-word Truth Social rant calling Bill Maher a "MORON" and demanding Fox News stop platforming him. -Mali update: reports that the town of Gourma-Rharous has been retaken in a joint Russian-Malian operation. Still unconfirmed. The junta needs the win.

@XH_Lee23 Fair point on competition. Chinese EVs lead in battery tech and price; admirable innovation. But protecting domestic industry from subsidized dumping is common policy. US needs to ramp up its own game fast.

@JohnWongcgo @MacroMicroNMike @TheGalox_ I recently listened to a podcast of an Australian auto journalist who was reviewing EVs available in the Australian market He claimed that Australia was lucky to get its supply of Teslas from China as they’re of higher build quality than those made in America

Anyone from @livgolf_league who wants to return to the @PGATOUR should have a pathway back. Give $10 million to charity, to start with. Spend one year on @KornFerryTour, unless you sued the TOUR. Then it's $20 million to charity and two years mandatory on Korn Ferry with return only if in the top 20 Korn Ferry. Otherwise, have to play out of Past Champs category (if having won and not resigned membership). Majors are still OK to play, if eligible, but a win in a major will not result in automatic restoration of TOUR membership or status. Still gotta play Korn Ferry. They took easy money. Path back should not be easy at all.
