@VCrosoft Culling of Stratholme was justified...the destruction of the fleet and all the killing after he was turned not so much.
English

Why is Sylvanas highly condemned for burning Teldrassil and killing a few thousand elves in the process, while Garrosh is more criticized for bombing Theramore and killing a few hundred humans, but Arthas, who wiped out two civilizations and destroyed the north of Eastern Kingdom, is okay?
What makes Arthas’s crimes “okay, we can let it pass” or why is the fandom so happy to speak of him, or is it simply that people don’t know the lore of the game? Why, if you like Sylvanas, are you pointed at like a second-class player?
Man, I hate the lore, but the community day after day is eager to make me gank them as well.
English

@Krelivane @Warcraft @WarcraftDevs @warcraftwas I hate how much it destroys the immersion and shrinks the world. Instead of characters spending time in all the in-world tavern they have 1 goddamn hotspot for all the elites like it's modern times...any day I'm expecting to find a Cosby suite in the Arcantina.
English

imo, The Arcantina feels like the canary in the coal mine for where Warcraft’s tone is heading. It leans into a whimsical, cozycore vibe that just doesn’t feel like Warcraft anymore.
A shame, because it looks stunning. Imagine if it had uneasy faction tensions inside, with brawls breaking out in the lower levels. ⚔️🔴🔵

@Andreas28613838 Dunno if it lacks themes. It's the themes that are lacking.
English

@LadyVivienneVT This way there will be enough space for tens of potential local conflicts. Things are simply soo unrealistically stable that nothing is happening unless an outer force attacks.
English

@LadyVivienneVT Wow needs to deglobalize. At this point factions hold way to much power with both basically strangling themselves in stagnation. They need to be weakened to the point where old and new factions and organizations can have a chance in fighting and countering their influence.
English

I need people to understand that removing the factions in WoW is like Star Wars pretending the Sith and Jedi don't exist
Not "Just dont have stories focused on them" but actively trying to make a Star Wars setting where Jedi, the Sith, and their respective factions DONT EXIST
Krexxal@Krexxal
This is the core of WoW. The divide that determines how people see the game and the world. The determining factor for their favorite stories and races. You don't get that anymore with a single narrative.
English

@eXtas1stv I still cannot understand how I was able to finish the whole of Gothic 3 with 5fps average. Children have incredible perseverance.
English

@sparkgremlin I just want us to stop talking with the equivalent of fucking presidents and billioners. Let's go back to helping the small...and to being a grunt.
English

@parry_system @covingtown Anduin. Blizzard writers just can't comprehend that being a king isn't a part-time job you can simply leave.
They seem to have no concept of legacy and inheritance too...not to mention the total mess an abdication would lead to with the Stormwind nobles and other alliance people
English

@covingtown Something to be said as well about how many characters have this very modern understanding of “trauma” and “healing” that pulls you right out of the world. The characters aren’t themselves, they’re the writer(s) speaking through them. Arator is maybe the biggest offender of this.
English

If you want a sustainable garden, replant enough to compensate for a harvest. If you harvest without replanting enough, you will eventually run out of what keeps you there in the first place.
For each story conflict you resolve, plant 1 or 2 seeds of conflict for future stories.
Portergauge 🏳️🌈@Portergauge
I could nitpick the max level campaign for so long, but I think at its core, the issue for me is that it feels like WoW doesn’t really want to *explore* conflicts and themes, it wants to resolve them. WoW is being written like it's a single-player game, not an evergreen MMO.
English

@ZedexCain @Atolanos @soulsobreezy If you think Blizzard won't treat this as a definite conclusion and that they won't treat the elves as best buds then I have a bridge to sell you.
English

@Hexill @Atolanos @soulsobreezy They didn't solve the problem. They put it on hold to save Silvermoon. They still hate and distrust each other. You're literally the type of person he's calling out.
English

@Skoll_Shorties I want them to go away but I know Blizz won't have the balls to put new organizations with ideological and political conflicts in their place.
If they take away the factions it won't be for the cool and dangerous chaos of a vast world...it will be for a samey friendly game lobby
English

@Neasper I just wish Gen came to Silvermoon, kicked Anduin in the ass and told him he's a goddamn king and not a simple man. For once he should be told to suck it up and do what a king needs to do.
English

@Atolanos @soulsobreezy "30 years". Sure mate...not like people are angry BECAUSE they jumped to the conclusion without actually solving the problems.
English

@soulsobreezy This. Its wild how people think a story that took nearly 30 years to tell is rushed LOL
English

@Laganish That's the problem. You need to charge exorbitant amount of money for sipping a Starbucks coffee and not doing anything otherwise why would they hire you...to work?...phaaa
English

@BellularGaming Would be cool if there wasn't a dick right in the middle of this succulent salad
English

@Strifuhn Im sorry, I stopped in the last patch of BFA, what the actual fuck is that?
English

@MamaBearKM @WorldByWolf Because ridding themselves of Hezbollah is the one thing Lebanese army and government want but were too weak to achieve until now.
English

@WorldByWolf Ok serious question. Does Lebanon not have an army? Why is there no resistance?
English

@RamavataramaArt Hell if they actually look at it realistically the renaming could be a political questline in itself since this kind of thing, done with the most holy place for the whole race would easily cause tensions.
English

@RamavataramaArt The idea of calling it a Dawnwell is the stupidest thing ever...just after calling it Voidwell. People don't change their vocabulary like that. For most if not all it was a "Corrupted Sunwell" and now it should still be "Cleansed Sunwell" weaker sure but still Sunwell.
English

@silverybarbs As a whole Blizzard is inventing names no native speaker should.
Void/Dawnwell sound ass.
Is it really so hard to call it Silver Sun...not great but not stupid.
English

they didnt even get their own stupid asspull name right at the building this is incredible

an elf is a hag🍄🟫🩸@silverybarbs
I FINISHED THIS TERRIBLE STORY WHY IS THE GRAPE BEAM BACK
