imo, The Arcantina feels like the canary in the coal mine for where Warcraft’s tone is heading. It leans into a whimsical, cozycore vibe that just doesn’t feel like Warcraft anymore. A shame, because it looks stunning. Imagine if it had uneasy faction tensions inside, with brawls breaking out in the lower levels. ⚔️🔴🔵

@skymagpie Zul'jan literally shows numerous traits of him going off on his own the entire zone and the few stay awhile and listens afterwards also paint him as being frustrated with how his sister is handling things. They aren't suddenly turning him into a villain. Foreshadow is a thing.

I know everyone is putting their eggs in the one Amani Patch 12.1 Atal'Utek basket, but there is still the risk that they are going to villain bat and/or kill Zul'jan which will retroactively ruin even the base Zul'Aman zone story 🫠

Yep. Insane. A decision I think is wrong, and one that’s simply not in me to make. Unearned surface level pulp that treats the world as background to a mostly cozy DnD campaign. But, it’s also a decision made by a very different individual in a different context. Crucially, the context that actually gets any of this made in the first place. So yes, it’s an eye-roll from me. But not a personal one. The machine that makes any of this exist runs on recognition, not coherence. And that machine is the context of this story’s creation. tldr: it is what it is

World of Warcraft Midnight has been a mostly Alliance expansion that takes place in a Horde City. Where are the Orcs, Tauren, Forsaken, Troll(that are not Amani), Vulpera, Nightborne, Huojin Pandaren, Horde Dracthyr? Where are Thrall, Baine, Talanji, Rokhan, Kiro, and ect?

@ForeverGuy5 You’re looking at overall which includes add damage. This does help when adds need to die, but having more than 4-5 big aoe dps on a boss does not help with finishing off the boss. Not every class is built the same, not every boss fight is designed the same.

Genuinely having fun playing Midnight so far. My biggest complaint about the game is the same as before I quit. The talent tree changes they made in Dragonflight were a huge mistake. It gives you the illusion of choice while remaining unnecessarily complex.

@Ranger_Elvira @Warcraft all this talk of story feels empty without x or y keep forgetting there is still more chapters (this is why they should not time gate stories because people cant comprehend next week might be better) and an entire expansion.

Arator saying he really wants Sylvanas to join the fight made me happy. They need to bring her back for this, AND THE DARK RANGERS that died defending the Sunwell. They are right there, and they are a portion of the Horde, and this expansion is lacking with Horde chars @Warcraft
