I actually think all factions do their fair share of divisive activity and the vast majority of it is wholly unproductive. Look only to Labour’s collapse to see Democrats’ own future where the internecine squabbles consume a movement of people who agree on 80-90% of things.

Partisan primaries are destroying the country. They punish people for taking popular positions (Cassidy, Massie, Cornyn, etc.) and encourage hyperpartisanship. We need jungle primaries + approval voting or, at least, rank choice voting, nationwide.
