The footage out of Gaza the last few days has been horrifying, but the footage tonight is reminiscent of what we witnessed day in and day out through 2023 and 2024. One friend in Nuseirat camp said that tonight was the worst night they’d experienced. It is the day before Eid al Adha and Israel, the ethno-supremacist Jewish nation it is, is slaughtering Palestinians as it always does before Islamic holidays.

Ko Tinmaung, a Toronto-based Rohingya activist, has been released after more than 96 hours in Israeli detention following Israel’s hijacking of the Global Sumud Flotilla and the abduction of its civilian participants. His testimony is horrifying. He says he was beaten in a dark room by more than five people, kicked, punched, tasered in multiple places, and handcuffed so tightly that the restraints cut into his wrists and restricted blood flow. He says he still needs treatment for concussion-like injuries. He also says he witnessed other detainees with broken ribs, head wounds, blood from their ears, eye injuries, broken noses and broken teeth. Most gravely, he alleges sexual assaults, including people being tasered on their genitals. Tinmaung’s testimony also exposes the racial dimension of Israeli violence. He says he was mocked as “Ahmed”, assaulted further, laughed at because of his skin colour, and treated as if his passport had no value because he was brown. This was a civilian-led humanitarian mission carrying food, aid and basic supplies to Gaza. So where is Canada? Where are the human rights organisations? Where are the global leadership councils, the moral authorities, the professional defenders of accountability? Silence now is not neutrality. It is complicity. (Video courtesy Forsea.co)

Netanyahu RUSHED to Jerusalem HOSPITAL His office only confirmed the transfer AFTER Hebrew-language media broke the story and forced their hand. Netanyahu was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center on Monday evening. The nature of the treatment was not disclosed, with aides offering only a vague reference to dental work. This is the same hospital where he secretly underwent radiation for a malignant prostate tumor last month without informing the public, a fact he only admitted after it leaked. The pattern is clear: this government lies about his health until it can't.

⭕️ New: Trump signals flexibility on Iran’s enriched uranium in Monday evening Truth Social post In a post on Truth Social, U.S. President Trump appeared to soften his previous demand that Iran surrender its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, outlining two acceptable options: 🔹Iran hands the material over to the United States to be destroyed, or 🔹Notably, his stated preference, the HEU is “destroyed in place” inside Iran in coordination with the Islamic Republic, with the Atomic Energy Commission or equivalent body as witness. Iran currently possesses an estimated 440.9 kilograms (972 pounds) of 60% highly enriched uranium (HEU). Because 60% enriched material sits a short technical step away from weapons-grade purity (90%), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) estimates that Iran's current 60% stockpile alone is theoretically sufficient to produce 10 to 12 nuclear weapons if further refined. The post marks a shift from Trump’s earlier position that Iran “cannot keep” its enriched uranium and must hand it over unconditionally. The second option, utilizing international supervision, is closer to what Iran has indicated it could accept — and tracks with what Drop Site News first reported last week: a senior IranIan official said Iran could offer dilution of uranium enriched above 20% inside Iran with the participation of mediators. Iran’s position is that nuclear issues come only after the first-phase MOU is signed and certain confidence-building measures in the first phase are implemented. A senior Iranian diplomat also confirmed to ISNA today that the MOU draft contains no nuclear commitments whatsoever.

An Iranian source told me the heavy gunfire heard near Bandar Abbas erupted after the IRGC targeted a vessel at sea, followed by U.S. fighter jets striking IRGC naval boats in the Gulf. According to the source, several IRGC Navy personnel were killed in the attack. “The situation is still unfolding,” the source said.

🎥 American nurse Ellie Burgos, currently volunteering in Gaza, says the United States and Israel are still blocking even the most basic medical supplies needed to treat nearly 200,000 wounded Palestinians, including minimum levels of gauze, colostomy bags, and other essential equipment. “People are still dying,” she said. They’re just “dying slowly” now, compared to last year when she was last in Gaza. Source: Sahat News English

Exclusive for Sahat English|| American nurse Ellie Burgos, who has returned to work in Gaza, confirms that the so-called "ceasefire" has not ended the humanitarian catastrophe. Rather, it has masked the slow death Palestinians are experiencing daily due to the collapse of the health sector and the lack of basic supplies caused by the Israeli occupation army's siege. She said that the world has stopped following what is happening, while patients and children continue to die amidst the destruction of the medical and civilian infrastructure within the Gaza Strip.

UPDATE: After national outrage erupted when the British public realised Dr Eastland Staveley—who said he didn't shoot enough babies—is working at @DHUHealthCare.... DHU are now HIDING THEIR ROTA. Staveley works from home, triaging patients as a GP. If the rota is hidden, no one sees him in person. DHU don't want anyone knowing if he is still actively treating British patients. Instead of an immediate suspension and investigation, a potential war criminal is being PROTECTED. The @gmcuk and @the_mpts have been investigating and suspending anti-genocide and anti-supremacy doctors on behalf of the pro-'israel' lobby while doing nothing about this reprehensible zionist jewish doctor for FOUR months. This is an unavoidable example of the supremacy we have been fired for naming and opposing.

UPDATE: Dr Eastland Staveley, the zionist jewish GP who said he didn't shoot enough babies is reportedly back working for Leicester out of hours DHU (@DHUHealthCare, @Leic_hospital). Meanwhile, myself and other doctors are suspended by @gmcuk for opposing genocide & supremacism.

This is pretty insane: the U.S. just tried to literally re-colonize part of the Philippines. They did so under the so-called "Pax Silica" initiative, the brainchild of - surprise, surprise - an ex-Palantir guy named Jacob Helberg who now runs U.S. economic "diplomacy" from the State Department. It's causing a big outcry in the Philippines, which is quite a feat given this is by far the most US-friendly country in Southeast Asia. If you're the US and you're getting the Marcos administration - of all governments - to push back on sovereignty, you've really overplayed your hand. What is the "Pax Silica" initiative? In a nutshell it's about the US getting other countries to commit to restructuring their AI tech infrastructure around a US-led stack. It's basically vendor lock-in: you hand over your critical minerals, align your export controls with Washington's, regulate AI the way America wants, and in return you get to be a US "trusted partner," whatever that means these days. In essence, let's not kid ourselves, it's all about China: this is the US's initiative to "win the AI race" by getting other countries to contractually commit to keeping China out of their tech supply chains. When you can't preserve your lead through innovation, you seek to lock countries in contractually. For instance as a country, this would mean telling Huawei they can't sell you AI chips, and telling Chinese firms they can't invest in your data centers - even if they're better and cheaper. It's not about choosing the best technology, it's about choosing the right flag. But in this instance, the US went much further still: they literally tried to carve out 4,000 acres of Philippine territory (in New Clark City, 60 miles north of Manila) to be governed under US common law with diplomatic immunity - the first arrangement of its kind anywhere in the modern world. This is according to the WSJ who ran the story last month (wsj.com/world/asia/u-s…) as if it was a done deal (it wasn't). Heard about the "French concession" or "British concession" in China during the century of humiliation? Same thing: the US basically asked for an "American concession" in the Philippines. Unsurprisingly, there was quite a bit of backlash in the country with for instance the Peasant Movement of the Philippines (KMP) calling it a “massive sellout” of the country’s land, minerals, and sovereignty (punto.com.ph/us-led-pax-sil…). So much so that the Philippines' government - namely Joshua Bingcang, president and chief executive of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) - issued a statement saying that the Philippines had rejected US proposals that would place the project beyond local jurisdiction (asianews.network/philippines-re…). Note, by the way, this delicious irony: the BCDA is the government agency that was created in 1992 specifically to convert former US military bases at Clark and Subic Bay after the Philippines spent decades negotiating their closure. New Clark City - where the Pax Silica's hub would go - is built on the old Clark Air Base. So the agency whose entire reason for existing is to turn former American colonial territory (i.e. US military bases) into sovereign Philippine land is the one now being asked to hand part of that very same land back under US jurisdiction (and, apparently, declined). Of course though, blocking this specific jurisdiction grab doesn't change the bigger picture. The Philippines is still a Pax Silica signatory, and Pax Silica itself is structurally neocolonial: you supply the cheap labor and raw materials, align your export controls and regulations with Washington's, cut yourself off from the world's rising technological powerhouse - and in exchange you get assembly jobs and the privilege of getting a pat on the head and being called a "trusted partner." They dropped the most cartoonishly colonial demand - governing Philippine soil under US law - but the underlying architecture is the same: you serve America's supply chain, on America's terms, and you relinquish your sovereign right to trade with whoever offers the best deal.

🎥”There’s a sadism” Meriem Hadjal, a French activist with the Global Sumud Flotilla, detained and imprisoned by Israel, testified that detainees were stripped of warm clothing and taken individually into a dark shipping container during their detention. There, Hadjal said she was repeatedly groped and sexually assaulted by multiple Israeli soldiers. She also described being slapped, beaten, kneed in the ribs, and having her hair pulled. Multiple flotilla activists have now come forward alleging sexual violence in Israeli custody, including claims of sexual assault and rape by Israeli soldiers. Organizers say at least 15 of the 480 detained activists reported sexual assault. 🎥 Meriem shared her testimony live on French TV. Video by @franceinfo. English translations by Drop Site News.
