@NotA_Bull For me funds and trusts build the foundation of a solid portfolio. To allow the security to take large bets on individual equities without potentially destroying my portfolio.

@ChrisRamsey60 Quite often education equals risk adversity. Making decisions and “rolling with the punches” and being committed has served me well since leaving the comfort or employment and developing/ running a business.

Most successful people I've met aren't that smart. They move fast, they take risk, they work a lot.

@MerrynSW Great podcast re student loans with @John_Stepek excuse my ignorance my student loan was from the early 2000’s and I’d paid off. My question is: what financial advice is now offered/required/available to prospective borrowers?

Student loans. A problem because interest rates are too high, repayment thresholds too low.. and 9 percentage points of extra tax too much. BUT the real problem is our low growth/low productivity economy. If incomes for graduates were higher... none of this would matter so much.

#CVCG A trust in the Private Credit market which I keep topping up. It yields just below 9%. Its exposure to software is only 3%, which is great news!

@TheSecretAcct Maybe they’re investing it or saving towards a mortgage deposit, such is often suggested they are not doing on this platform of wisdom. Young people can’t catch a break. Or maybe they use illegal drugs.

The pub industry is doomed. They need to reinvent themselves quickly.
