85 yo M Celect filter @cookvascular 6 mo ago for DVT/PE + contraindication to anticoagulation, here for retrieval. Unknown to us, spine surgery (outside hospital) did cement vertebroplasty of fused lumbars. Good thing that filter was there! Note ⬆️ flow azygous vein #iRad #FOAMed

@SIRspecialists @_backtable NPs and patient education videos (@theholvangroup) take some of the pressure and tedium off our IRs. The NPs use the videos to help their efficiency which minimizes their #burnout as well.

My wife is being admitted to the hospital due to complications w/ her cancer treatment. I’m not allowed to see her due to #COVID19 restrictions, & I’m hoping she doesn’t have to spend New Year’s in a hallway because the beds are full. What you do matters, even beyond COVID...
