Of course this 10 yr-old boy can't understand why he must leave Girlguiding, he's been told he's a 'girl' since the age of 6. Girls in the local group were also deceived. Lying to children is not 'kindness' or 'inclusion', it's cruelty. metro.co.uk/2026/03/31/tra…

@Transgendertrd This is something we all know and yet horrific nonetheless. The wilful destruction of children's mental and physical health, with full enablement of the state and medical colleges is a complete stain on our society. We need a Nuremberg trial.

📰A new Finnish study reports that youth gender transitions (under age 23) did not improve mental health symptoms. For some youth, medical gender reassignment may have had a negative impact. Link ⬇️ /1

Finland’s data are critical in the current debates on pediatric gender medicine. To our knowledge, Finland is the only country reporting full registry data, meaning outcomes are captured for all patients. By contrast, Dutch follow-up studies rely on later volunteers, with dropout rates near 50% which introduces a major risk of bias. /2 onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ap…

Let's be clear about what the Ruminati are, because the name was chosen for us by a newsletter that meant it as a criticism and we kept it. Gerald is a bull. He eats grass on land that has been permanent pasture since 1763. The grass converts sunlight and rain into protein. Gerald converts the grass into beef, manure, and seven wildflower species in a south corner that had none of them before he arrived. His methane is the carbon that was in the grass two weeks ago and will be back in the grass in twelve years. This has been the arrangement for the entirety of cattle domestication and the net carbon position of British permanent pasture over that period is: improving. Doris is a ewe. She eats fell grass that grows on land too steep, too thin, too wet, and too acidic for any crop ever suggested by anyone who has actually looked at it. She maintains the open sward structure that forty-seven plant communities and three red-listed bird species depend on. Without her, the fell becomes purple moor grass. It has been tested. There is a control fell. The control fell has been ungrazed since 2004. The control fell has purple moor grass and no skylarks. Keith is a goat. He eats the things Gerald and Doris won't touch: bramble, knotweed, dock, thistle, rush, ivy stems, and whatever is happening in Steve's garden. His rumen handles tannins and oxalates that would damage a dog's liver. He converts material that would otherwise advance unchecked across the British countryside into cheese, manure, and a net outcome column that has been positive on every row since entry seventeen. They are not destroying the planet. They are the planet. This distinction has been available in every field in Britain since before the policy documents existed. Nobody thought to look in the fields. The fields are still there.

After Utah passed a moratorium on medical youth gender transitions in 2023, activist groups lobbied for an evidence review to prove this practice is safe and effective. The result was the "Utah Review," which produced the desired answer by scrapping methodological standards. /1

Problematically, the Review does not acknowledge the epidemiological shift in gender dysphoria presentations, with primarily teen girls seeking to undergo gender transition. Instead, the Review asserts the timeless nature of trans identities by referencing Tiresias from a Greek myth. Ironically, according to the same myth, after 7 years of living as a woman, Tiresias returned to living as a man, making him a "detransitioner"—a term the Utah Review never uses. /8

In just the last nine months, at least six UK Pride activists have been charged with, or convicted of, child sexual abuse offences. And these are just the ones whose crimes were serious enough, and Pride activism well known enough, to be reported on

Children are being let down by ideological capture of our institutions. It was great to have @ProtectTeach speak at our latest roundtable. Safeguarding, based in reality, must come first. Read @NoSecretLessons's important report: womenpolicycentre.com/the-rshe-indoc…
Protect and Teach@ProtectTeach

We're not just looking at schools, we also want local authorities to approach this whole topic with safeguarding and reality prioritised. For @ChildrenOfTrans and the other vulnerable children being so badly let down by the current ideological capture of these institutions.

@SuellaBraverman @Homestraightnow I taught in UK schools for over 30 years. Pupils hardly ever mentioned politics until Farage started UKIP - then his leaflets and propaganda started causing racist incidents in schools. I have never seen or heard of any attempt at indoctrination by teachers.

There is an alarming level of political indoctrination going on in our schools. It’s costing the taxpayer hundreds of millions of pounds, is against the law and is putting the welfare of children at serious risk. I will keep working to expose this scandal and fix it. Thank you to @womenpolicyctr and @SarahForRuncorn for organising an important meeting in Parliament today.

Gender non-conforming people were labeled as fragile “eggs” just waiting to “crack.” Questioning teens were “baby trans,” coddled like toddlers by their “big siblings” in the community. It was glaringly creepy at best, and downright predatory at worst. 3/7

The Black Opinion
The Black Opinion@opinion_black·
Call this out for what it is: We have all witnessed the quite disturbing scenes of predominantly black school aged children behaving appallingly in Clapham yesterday. There is a combination of factors as to why this took place and I am going to point them out without fear or favour. 1. Parents. This is your failure. The children are an extension of you. You have abdicated responsibility & chose to be ‘friends’ with your children instead of being the architects of authority, discipline & boundary setting. Instead you are weak and your children know you are, thus diluting any respect that they would naturally have for you. 2. Schools. When people like Katharine Birbalsingh & her elite teachers speak about standards, discipline and teaching children in a ‘no excuses environment’ many of you turn your noses up. However, do you really believe that children who attend her school ‘Michaela’ would behave this way in public? Neither do I. Schools and how they operate are a barometer of where this country will be in the near future. This alone should be ringing alarm bells but unfortunately it is not. 3. Parliament. Those that are legislators in this country are way out of sync with what is required to churn out functioning useful youngsters in this society. With Labour MPs seeking to legalise voting for those aged 16+ I am only surprised that they were not in Clapham giving out flyers telling these youngsters that they are only robbing shops because of ‘white people and slavery’. Vote Labour! 4. Police The police were totally useless yesterday. The police on the ground? No. Their bosses? Yes. Scotland Yard and Chief Superintendents are mostly now chosen for their senior roles based on politics, sexuality and wokeness. At least 100 youngsters should have been arrested, publicised widely, hurried through the system and severely punished. A clear message needed to be sent. It wasn’t. This is why it will now be a continual occurrence. 5. Social Media. 99% of these ‘link ups’ are organised via social media platforms. These companies must be subject to criminal injunctions when their platforms are used to promote chaos. Further, if found guilty then the penalties should include eye watering fines and three year imprisonment for their managing directors. Lastly, the age to use Social Media should rise to 18 years. Conclusion. Many of the youngsters will claim they were ‘just having a laugh’. That may well be true. Families who were locked in the stores or staff working in those stores would surely disagree. That behaviour was disgusting and you parents should point that out. There is a time coming where some of these parents should be criminally liable for their actions of their bloody children. We are blessed to be in a country like this despite its many faults. We also have many opportunities and are frittering them away. Do better and stop the damn excuses. Control your children.

@UKwantsmore @SuellaBraverman @m3tmj The correct action is to contact the headteacher. Suggesting you want to talk to an MP sounds as though you want to make a big public fuss and have your 5 minutes of fame. Private schools can ask pupils to leave if their parents cause trouble.

It is against the law for teachers to promote partisan or political views in the classroom. If NEU members use their jobs to campaign against Reform in schools, they will be breaking the law. And action will be taken against them. Vote Reform to end political indoctrination in schools.

Love the UK - Bring back common sense
I have contacted the school - and I don’t want fame, I don’t want any public appearances or newspaper columns, I just wanted to know what recommendations she would have for me to do next. You really are sad and pathetic to think that someone who is concerned that their child’s teacher is politicising children instead of teaching is only after attention - Teachers are there to teach children how to think independently, not brainwash them into their ideologies. People like you epitomise the problems we have in today’s society - I won’t be silenced, no matter how hard you and your Lefties try.

Dear Phoebe, I read your Observer piece this morning on the reported “exodus” from Girlguiding - and I was genuinely shocked. Not because you presented a different perspective to my recent Telegraph reporting on the problems within Girlguiding. That’s part of journalism. But because you chose to include the case of a six-year-old little boy who reportedly tried to cut off his own penis - after being told he couldn't be part of Rainbows (the section of Girlguiding for 5–7 year olds). Presenting it as evidence of a problem with Girlguiding’s admissions policy. It is not. It is a deeply distressing account involving a very young child - and, on any view, a serious welfare concern. Framing it otherwise is a profound failure of editorial judgement. You also refer to this male child throughout using female pronouns, including the phrase “her penis”. I appreciate this may reflect current editorial conventions. But it sits uneasily with the basic duty of a journalist to report clearly and accurately on material facts. I was already aware of this case through my own reporting for the Sunday Telegraph. I made a conscious decision not to include it at this stage - both because a minor is involved and because of the ethical considerations that arise when reporting on such sensitive situations. Those considerations are not optional. You will know, as I do, that journalism is not simply about presenting competing narratives. It is about establishing facts clearly, handling vulnerable subjects with care and exercising judgement about what should - and should not - be used to advance an argument. I trained as a journalist in the early 2000s - a good 20 years earlier than you did - but to my knowledge nothing has changed. Good journalism should bring clarity. It should not muddy the facts - in order to promote an ideological position. In this context, that means being clear about sex - a material fact that is both legally and practically relevant. I appreciate you may be under pressure from colleagues or editors to frame stories in a particular way - or to use she/her pronouns, or the phrase “her penis”. But that doesn’t make it right. Earlier this week, the Manchester Evening News reported a violent murder as being committed by a woman - one of many examples of inaccurate reporting around sex and gender. In this case, even the Crown Prosecution Service - the public body responsible for prosecuting criminal cases in England and Wales - also reported the crime inaccurately. So that’s two professions we should be able to trust to tell the truth - providing inaccurate information. Crime statistics matter. Without accurate data on who is committing serious violence, we cannot properly understand it - let alone prevent it. I considered raising this privately, or writing to your editor. But this issue is too important to be brushed aside with a “thank you for your feedback”. I’m happy to discuss it with you privately, or to support a conversation with your editor if that would be helpful. But I hope this gives you - and your colleagues - serious pause for thought. Because it is very much needed. Janet
