As I lay here, I think about hunters tagging out already. I love turkey hunting, but my goal is not to tag out. It is to hunt, and sometimes get outsmarted by a 3-4 year old boss tom. I have twice already. Tomorrow, Mr Tom stay ready as I come with something different tomorrow.

What's a good deer caliber for a woman? Wanna buy the wife a deer rifle but i don't think she'd enjoy shooting a .308 or 30-06 repeatedly. Also this is for mostly East Texas. So don't necessarily need to reach way out there but do want the capability to reach a little out there if she goes somewhere else.
