This was the hardest lesson for me to learn before turning anti left: There is no bottom. For left whites, they arent going to change their minds. I just had a disturbing realizing, it wasn't the assassination attempt, Trump didn't start making HORRIBLE decisions until AFTER Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I remember someone who knew Charlie saying "he would always talk Trump out of bad things like war with Iran" in the months leading to his brutal murder he had started questioning Israel and even said how his Jewish donors were angry at him/telling him to "fall in line" and he said he was afraid for his life (and was killed shortly after) now its all obvious—he was in the way of their goals and that's why they killed him. Venezuela wasn't a test run it was the set up, that's why all the oil the US captured went directly to Israel, Israel got the US to bomb Iran/start a war knowing that the Strait of Hormuz would be closed (but Israel has the Venezuela oil so they don't care if oil prices go insane or other countries have shortages) and now Jewish people are saying "Turkey is the next major threat" these people literally planned to start WW3 from the start—and it was all by design. Trump is comprised because they killed and/or destroyed the reputation of anyone who would give Trump good advice so they could push their insane genocidal goals, which explains why Tucker Carlson is being targeted by the CIA, they know Trump listens to Tucker so they want to ruin his name even tho all Tucker wants is for American citizens and veterans to not die in yet another Forever War. They bombed that school on purpose, they wanted retaliation attacks (and if required they'll just make one) to justify their warmongering and religious prophecies, because boomers are getting old and don't care how many people die because they'll be dead soon anyways, this is last attempt usher in the apocalypse. It all makes perfect sense—and it is all deeply disturbing.

Our youth have never in human history had it this easy. Even up until last 3 decades ago they were dying en masse in wars - civil war, ww1/2/korea/vietnam and so on. Our kids have it made. My first mortgage was almost 10%, I had to put down 20% and it was fixed rate! We didn’t start getting opp to swap out mortgages until mid/late 90s

Not sure why $200 crude oil is seen as the Boogeyman. Price compared July 2005 vs today: -> Gold was $425, now over $5000 -> Silver was $7, now over $80 -> Oil was $60, now only $96 It's still one of the cheaper assets. Wake me up when oil is above $500.

The visa workers attempted to use AI to refactor our code and it destroyed the logic. Eventually the entire team was offshored and it caused an production outage within a month

There is so much tech debt being created right now. I honestly feel like the little boy that runs out of fingers to plug all the holes in the Dam. Simultaneously I am anticipating the “business update” mail where I find out I got replaced by a rack of h200s. Honestly at this point it will be a relief.

Gone. A 6-hour outage. 6.3 million orders lost. Amazon's SVP called thousands of engineers into a mandatory meeting this week. Not to discuss strategy. To discuss damage control. Now here's my prediction and I want you to screenshot this: Amazon won't just ban AI-assisted code. They'll make every engineer personally liable for AI-generated code they approve. Other Big Tech will follow within 6 months. Think about what that means. The same companies that fired thousands of engineers to "restructure around AI" are about to tell the remaining ones.. you're now legally responsible for code you didn't write, can't fully understand, and were told to ship faster. Atlassian fired 1,600 people this morning to go all-in on AI. Replit is hiring kids who vibe code. And Amazon, the company that BUILT one of these AI coding agents just watched it nuke production. The vibe coding era isn't ending. But the "move fast and let AI break things" era is about to hit a wall. And that wall is called liability. Companies wanted AI to replace engineers. Now they need engineers to babysit AI. And they already fired the babysitters.
