This is a country that threatened to annex a NATO ally’s territory and called its biggest trade partner an enemy.
Abandoned Ukraine to save face with Putin. Imposed tariffs on the people it calls friends. Declared ideological war on European values. And now wants NATO to fight Israel’s battles in the Middle East.
Trump’s America does not believe in alliances. It believes in leverage. It does not believe in rules. It believes in deals. It does not believe in the liberal order it built. It is actively dismantling it.
NATO was never built for this. It was built on the assumption that the biggest threat came from outside the alliance.
That assumption no longer holds.

If we're to see a positive outcome for Warhammer fans from this mess, it won't be an open retcon immediately. What we'll see is probably what Disney has been doing with the Star Wars Sequels. A refusal to acknowledge, followed by signs of moving toward soft-retcon. Like how they revamped Galaxy's Edge to be all Original Trilogy themed from Sequel themed, except for the one ride they cannot physically change due to the inherent cost.
Don't expect an immediate new set of minis. Expect a lack of mention of females in future codexes, but no outright change to gender neutral wording. Then, probably by 13th or 14th edition, you'll see "him, his, and he" show up exclusively. But by then, the community will no longer notice even if fans will. As it stands, the new minis are just men with long hair so it's easy to ignore. Just do a rewrite.
My conspiracy theory about what's going on behind the scenes is slowly taking shape with all this information. The 'totally not female' heads for the Space Marines tie into this as well.
