So the Democrats stole the election in 2020 but forgot to in 2024 when they had the presidency?

Even people WITH degrees are losing faith in them. New Gallup data shows confidence in U.S. higher education has fallen across every education level since 2015. Among postgraduates, the people who bought in the most, it dropped from 67% to 49%, among bachelor's holders: 57% to 36%. This disillusionment is not coincidence because the returns to education have changed: - The wage premium peaked in 2015, we see this correspond to the decline in faith. The pay advantage of a degree over a high school diploma has since drifted back to late-1990s levels (55%), per the Economic Policy Institute. - Meanwhile, the price of college kept climbing. A four-year degree cost 40% more in 2022–23 than in 2000–01 (NCES). Flat returns × rising costs = shrinking ROI. - Supply exploded. In 2000, 31% of the labor force held a bachelor's or higher. By 2025: 45%. The degree stopped being a differentiator and started being a checkbox. - The historic pattern of the benefits of a degree has flipped. Since February 2019, recent college grads have had HIGHER unemployment than the overall workforce, every single month, on a 12-month average. Today the NY Fed puts recent-grad unemployment at 5.7%, with 41.5% underemployed in jobs that don't require their degree. - The Cleveland Fed found the unemployment gap between young college grads and high school grads is now the narrowest it's been since the late 1970s. - Maybe most damning data: new Princeton research finds the wage premium for lower-income graduates has HALVED since 1960. The people higher ed promised to lift are getting the least lift. So Americans have stopped believing the default path guarantees the default outcome. When 4 in 10 graduates land in jobs that never required the degree, "just go to college" stops sounding like advice and starts sounding like a gamble. The institutions that win the next decade won't be the ones defending the old value proposition, they'll be the ones rebuilding it with transparent ROI by program, tighter employer links, and real apprenticeship in a remote-first world. news.gallup.com/poll/712322/co… #HigherEducation #JobMarket #FutureOfWork #ROI #WorkforceDevelopment

they are creating these confrontations. intentional escalation. they live for the violence. they are out of control bloodthirsty racists. who else would work for what ICE has become under trump?
Jesus Freakin Congress@TheJFreakinC

🚨BREAKING UPDATE OUT OF MAINE: The man killed in the Biddeford, Maine ICE shooting has been identified as a 26-year-old Colombian man who was authorized to work in the United States and had been issued a Social Security number. This wasn’t a “violent criminal.” This wasn’t even an undocumented immigrant. This was someone who had legal authorization to live and work here. So why was ICE trying to pull him over? A witness also says he saw a large white vehicle ram the smaller vehicle, followed by a second impact… And heard gunshots. He says he then saw an officer open the vehicle door, pull a man out with blood covering his head, and heard him say: “I tried to stop.” ICE agents do not have the authority to stop whoever they want, give conflicting orders, escalate an encounter, and then use deadly force when that situation becomes chaotic. If the government gives agents the power to carry weapons and take someone’s life, those agents have a responsibility to make sure they are acting within the law before they create a situation where someone can be killed. A person’s rights do not disappear because an ICE agent decides to stop them. Which means the question that must be answer is this… Was this man killed because ICE created a dangerous situation that never should have happened? Because when the government can put someone in a life-or-death situation, the question cannot only be whether the final seconds justified pulling the trigger. We have to ask why this encounter was allowed to escalate in the first place.

Donald Trump’s spiral continues. The failed president, pocketing billions as he drives up prices, is afraid to lose the midterms. So he will reheat debunked election conspiracy theories and tell bizarre new lies to deny his 2020 defeat and attack voting rights. This is a disaster for Trump puppet Mike Collins. Already mired in scandal, Mike will now have to double down on conspiracy theories toxic in the General Election. From the start, Trump’s obsession with Georgia elections revealed his fury that Black voters were instrumental to his defeat. I'm asking concerned citizens nationwide to join me and support our voter protection efforts in Georgia.

THOMAS MASSIE: “It’s ironic that we control the House, Senate, Supreme Court, & the White House -- and we're yelling 'election fraud'? We won all the damn elections. What are we doing with that? We’re bankrupting the country. We’re starting new wars. We’re violating the Constitution. We’re not cracking down on the fraud. The problem is not the elections. We won the damn elections. The problem is that we’re wasting the opportunity voters gave us."

Europe figured out concessions decades ago. Every park has a kiosk: espresso, pastry, maybe a spritz or a beer at 6pm. Small operator pays rent, city gets revenue, park gets foot traffic and eyes on the grass. Everyone wins. SF has 230+ parks and almost none of this. Dolores Park froze a Blue Bottle cart permit over community outreach complaints. Coit Tower took years of hand-wringing over a removable food kiosk (unsurprisingly: Peskin territory). Meanwhile we wonder why maintenance budgets are tight and parks feel empty at 7am. Give me a coffee kiosk in every major park. Let the concession help pay for upkeep. Let foot traffic take care of public safety. Create a third space — a square where people can meet instead of shouting at each other on social media. I’ll die on this hill.
