Of all of the insane back machines and back movements available, dumbbell rows are near irreplaceable.
The ability to let it ride forward into the deepest stretch possible, build that mind muscle connection, and mold it to your build freely, is extremely hard to replicate with any machine.
Higher skill required for disproportionately greater returns.
Absolutely worth taking the time to get it right.

@Doc_Red_ We actually love ours , its amazing but I think it only works at this stage in our lives where it is just the best scenario for our schedules and convenience . My wife and I use it religiously every day. Never happier

@Cernovich I’m 32 years old and have a pension and 401k through my work. I just set up a 529 account for my daughter. Should my wife and I set up another Roth for ourselves or go with a brokerage account? My wife also has a 401k through work. Thank you! I’m very new to all of this

Only the ones who trade on leverage. I promise you if you max out a Roth IRA on Fidelity dot com, in SPY and QQQ, every year (or until you earn too much for a Roth’s income limitations) you will be a very happy person in 30 years.

@TheDadAesthetic You should post your workout plan! Been following an Upper/lower plan the past year, but I think it’s time to either switch up the split or lifts to get some momentum back.

@DeanTTraining I’ll allow myself to indulge in certain things like ice cream/burgers/pizza while on vacation or the occasional weekend night but immediately afterward I think, “I have no idea how people eat like this on a daily basis. I feel like shit.”

@HybridDad24 Olive oil is fine and I’d just count the total amount and divide it by the portion (even though some of it cooks off)

1) Dice chicken breast and put in gallon ziplock bag
2) Add McCormick Grill Mates Chipotle Pepper to gallon bag with oil & water (using instructions on the back of the pack)
3) Shake bag well
4) Let it marinate for at least 2-3 hours
5) Preheat air fryer to 400°
6) Cook chicken @ 400° for 8-10 minutes
7) Pair chicken with shredded lettuce, Monterey Jack cheese, low calorie taco shells, and salsa Roja

The air fryer is the single greatest purchase you can make if you don’t know how to cook and want to eat healthier.

This is in my plan because
(1) I like the taste
(2) I usually like to take a high day before each upper body day (I find it helps tremendously with gym performance the following day)
My total weekly intake will still be below my total weekly output
If you can’t deal in moderation (many can’t), this type of thing won’t work for you while dieting

@DeanTTraining I’m sure you’ve answered this a million times but what’s the reasoning behind this in your plan? Is this a “refeed” day? Do you eat in such a deficit that this won’t put you out of that deficit? Genuinely curious how this would work for someone

@DeanTTraining This is awesome 💪🏼 at some point down the line I’ll assume you’ll completely max our this machine (and other equipment). What would be the plan once you can no longer add additional weights like this? More plate loaded machines?
