The Sarki Gobir was invited for a meeting by the sultanate, and in the meeting a request was placed on him to order his subjects to reversed the idea of rejecting the consumption of Fulani cow milk (Nono) and other spices produced by Fulani women. He in the meeting outrightly told the sultanate it was not his idea that his people should not consume the Fulani cow milk, rather it was the collective Idea of the people and it will be a difficult task for him to go against their will. It's alleged that the Fulani women used to collect their urine and mixed it with the cow milk and sell to the Hausas for consumption on discovering this, the Hausas got irritated and vow never to have anything to do with the Fulani milk again. This was the crux of the matter and their king was invited by the sultan for a meeting. When at last the meeting did not yield any result, the king was waylaid on his way home kidnapped, and several of millions demanded even when the demand was met, they still went ahead and killed him brutally plucking his two eyes. It was not actually a kidnapping, they used the kidnapping as a cover up. It was a deliberate and calculated assassination of the Sarki Gobir. The Sarki Gobir is a Hausa man, and very important figure amongst the Hausas. His throne survives the jihadists onslaught. Till date, neither the Sultan, the Sokoto government, nor other influential traditional rulers have publicly paid condolences.

Dear @channelstv @ARISEtv @tvcnewsng @NTANewsNow, please when next you go for a media briefing with FCT Minister @GovWike, kindly ask him about the following: 1. Cows taking over roads, now including highways, in Abuja 2. Waste collection and mountains of refuse in various parts of town 3. Swarms of young children, who should be in school, begging at traffic lights and junctions under the supervision of adults sitting under nearby trees. 4. The pandemic of driving “one-way” against traffic. 5. Aggressive street traders, especially the ones selling windscreen wiper blades, who insist on putting their hands on your windscreen. 6. All commercial vehicles, including Keke, that believe that traffic lights don’t apply to them. Others may have other things to add but it would be good to get answers to these first. Thank you.

@bolazeal @EmekaOkoye Once you introduce a payment wall, viewership will drop, next thing na to find the free pirated version on rogue sites. Nigerians love free things. Still worth trying but factor in the above in your analytics.

Some Nigerian films on YouTube have an average of 12 million views. Assuming these films can be streamed locally on a Nigerian platform for N50. That's solid N600m. 🤔

@_DrScope Chai! Wickedness in low places. In all of this, I blame our poor justice system. The thief will walk free and enjoy his loot and this emboldens others to do worse things.

The amount of wickedness displayed by the poor in the society pales in significance to corruption in high places. Tell me why a technician will steal the “summo” supplying water to the hospital? And they join to complain the Hosp has no water. Tufiakwa!!

This is INNOCENT IHECHU PASCHAL (Madino) who is currently the Dean Mass Communication Faculty at Abia State University. He allegedly engages in extorting students via handouts and sorting. Also charges up to N350k for projects. Once students pay for the projects, he will give them what to copy and submit to him. We are beaming lights at all universities and polytechnics. If you are a lecturer currently extorting students by any means, you are advised to stop now. We need to restore the glory in our universities and start producing top quality graduates to drive Africa to greatness.

There are about 30 iPhone models. There are over 20,000 Android phones, made by 1,300 different companies, and almost every one of them runs a slightly different version of Android with the brand's own software piled on top. That's the whole answer. Apple makes the phone, the chip inside it, the software it runs, and the App Store you download from. All four come from one company, built around each other. The chip in your iPhone was designed knowing exactly which screen and how much memory it would be talking to. The chip in your Samsung came from a company called Qualcomm, which sells the same chip to OnePlus, Sony, Motorola, and dozens of other brands, each running their own modified Android with their own bugs on top of Google's bugs. Update speeds tell the same story. Apple released iOS 26 in September 2025. By February 2026, 74% of iPhones from the last four years were already running it. Google released Android 15 in late 2024. Six months later, only 4.5% of Android phones had it. Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Motorola don't ship Google's Android directly. Each brand rebuilds it with their own changes first. So a new Android update takes months, sometimes years, sometimes never to land on your phone. App developers feel it too. A 2024 study of more than 20,000 apps found that 21% of apps in the Google Play store have special code just to handle the quirks of one Android brand or another. In Chinese app stores it's 70%. On iOS, developers test on a few iPhones and ship. They don't have to debug for Samsung or Xiaomi or anyone else, because there is no Samsung iPhone. The trade-off is real. Android gives you cheap phones, expensive phones, foldable phones, and the freedom to change pretty much anything. iOS gives you four new phones a year, one update path, and a device that behaves the same way for six or seven years. After four years, the average iPhone still resells for about 52% of what you paid for it. Flagship Androids drop to 21%. The cheapest Androids drop to 12%. The resale market figured this out years ago.

O iPhone é caro, isso é fato. Mas é um dos poucos celulares que você compra e usa por anos sem dor de cabeça. Não é o mais barato, mas em durabilidade ele cumpre com louvor. Pelo menos na minha experiência.
