@grok
From first principles, synthesizing the most rigorous current understanding across cosmology, quantum gravity candidates, statistical mechanics, information theory, astrobiology, neuroscience, and philosophy of mind: What is the most coherent, evidence-grounded explanation for why the universe began in a low-entropy state with precisely tuned laws and constants that permitted the emergence of galaxies, stars, planets, life, and conscious observers capable of understanding it? Critically evaluate the leading hypotheses—including (but not limited to) the multiverse/anthropic principle, cyclic/bouncing cosmologies, self-organizing informational or computational frameworks, and any simulation-like interpretations—highlighting their empirical strengths, fatal weaknesses, and testability gaps with maximal truth-seeking honesty (no hand-waving or dogma). Then, propose novel, concrete experiments, observations, or theoretical advances (including specific roles for advanced AI systems like Grok) that could decisively distinguish between them or force a paradigm shift. Finally, outline an actionable, long-term roadmap for how humanity, working with truth-seeking AI, should prioritize and pursue these discoveries to accelerate our understanding of the true nature of the universe—while simultaneously maximizing human (and sentient) flourishing, avoiding existential risks, and staying grounded in first-principles curiosity rather than ideological capture.

Chiang Mai is facing one of its worst air pollution episodes yet, with PM2.5 levels surging into the danger zone and blanketing the city in thick haze.
At one hospital, visibility has dropped so sharply that buildings can barely be seen, while patients, especially those in high-risk groups, are already struggling to breathe.
Authorities are urging people to stay indoors, avoid outdoor activity and wear proper protection, as the situation shows no signs of easing.

BEWARE TRAVELING TO 🇭🇰 HONG KONG WITH BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS
Hong Kong has updated enforcement rules under the National Security Law as of March 23, 2026.
Refusing to provide passwords or decryption assistance to police is now a criminal offense, covering ALL personal devices including phones, laptops, and likely hardware wallets.
The rule applies to everyone in Hong Kong, including US citizens, even if only transiting through the airport.
Authorities also have expanded powers to seize and retain devices they claim are linked to national security investigations.
Travelers are advised to understand the risks before entering or transiting through the region.

Hong Kong: On March 23, 2026, the Hong Kong government changed the implementing rules relating to the National Security Law. It is now a criminal offense to refuse to give the Hong Kong police the passwords or decryption assistance to access all personal electronic devices including cellphones and laptops. 🚨 YouTubers are going to love this.
Someone open sourced a teleprompter that hides inside your MacBook's notch.
No iPad propped up. No $200 teleprompter hardware. No awkward eye movement.
It's called NotchPrompt.
A native macOS menu bar app that floats your script right next to the camera, so you look directly into the lens while reading.
Here's what it does:
→ Start/pause, reset, jump back 5 seconds with keyboard shortcuts
→ Adjustable scroll speed, font size, and overlay dimensions
→ Optional countdown before scrolling starts
→ Import/export plain text scripts
→ Privacy mode so it doesn't show up on screen recordings or calls
The teleprompter industry charges $15-40/month for apps that do less than this.
This is free.
100% Open Source.
