I believe every child deserves access to good health care

I am told some big fish has been arrested. Verifying this in a bit!

Dr. Irene Nabitaka, the Acting District Health Officer of Kiryandongo District, said the district serves a population of about 365,000 residents in addition to approximately 185,000 refugees across 13 sub-counties. She explained that the district operates 35 health facilities, including government, private not-for-profit and private health centres. She noted that the district’s health workforce remains limited, operating at about 38% of the required staffing level, with only a small number of nutrition specialists available. Dr. Nabitaka said partners including UNICEF, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Food Programme support nutrition interventions through therapeutic feeding, food distribution and community-based programmes. She explained that mass screening, community outreach and treatment programmes have helped reduce global acute malnutrition rates significantly in recent years. However, she warned that the withdrawal of several partner-supported health workers has created staffing gaps that affect screening and treatment services. She stressed that additional staffing, training and infrastructure are required to sustain progress in improving child nutrition. #Nutrition4all #BestStartInLife #InvestInUGchildren @OPMUganda @JapanEmb_Uganda @eu_echo @NipnOpm @society_uganda @NutritionistsUg @FCDOGovUK @WFP_Uganda

Sir @qataharraymond , Chairman digital disciplinary, Chairperson adult parenting, the chief "insulter" who insults those who have no right to insult.... 😆

Does not look like she resisted the arrest. She obviously didn't go there to get her head bashed in by fighting cops, coz she ain't stupid. She just needed the photo op, got it, and now there's a nice clip of her giving an inspirational political speech as she's being escorted by police. That video will play very well to the donor community. I imagine that is/was the whole point.

Just watched a video of former NTV journalist Nasibo Kabale living in the streets. The journalist used to earn over 100k but one day she lost her job. Life became tough as relatives ,former workmates and friends avoided her. She eventually opted to live in the streets. She has even lost some teeth. Life can change any time. Copied Me: Financial management is necessary. Don't joke about it. Go and learn about money management. It is better to leave money for others to use after death than to suffer because of your financial carelessness. The rule is simple. 10 % is for others 90% is for you (your rent, feeding, other expenses) Learn to respect your earnings 😔. Until you have more than enough, don't start distributing like someone without sense. Learn to say no. The majority of us don't know how to say no. Learn to overpower the spirit of money distribution immediately you receive money. How to manage your money. 1. Start saving at least 10% as emergency funds. Eg. Car break down, hospital bill, trips and others. The goal is to have 3 months of emergency funds. Just imagine you are laid off, you have three months savings to keep you until you get another job. Emergency will surely happen so don't let it surprise you. You are not surprised, you are careless. 2. Save 10% for investment. Keep saving for investment until you have something to invest in. Don't just wish you started saving. 3. Use 10% to assist others. If it finishes, put people on the wait list. This is why you learn to say no. I don't have it at the moment. Don't be ashamed to say no. 4. Use 70% to run your life. E.g rent, feeding, transportation, and other necessities. Whatever that remains can be transferred to your emergency funds. If you have an emergency up to 3 months, start putting the remaining money in investment savings. I hope this will help you adjust your life. When you stop giving, receivers will look for the next available giver. Every giver must receive. When you give and don't receive, you will dry off. Remember this.
